ADB Strategy 2030
●        Secretary of the Economic Affairs Department (DEA), Mr. SG Garg, participated in India's full session of the 51st Annual Meeting of Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila today and welcomed ADB's Strategy 2030.
●        Garg is currently leading the Indian delegation to the 51st Annual Meeting of ADB.
●        All the Governors presented their tips.
 
Skill India organizes livelihood and skill development fair in Bhubaneswar
●        The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD) have joined hands to celebrate the spirit of new India, which can be enhanced by the current ruling government's 'Gram Swaraj Abhiyan', which is being implemented by the Government's poverty oriented initiatives Is promoting awareness and social harmony.
●        Addressing a public gathering of Union Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said, "Our government has completed 4 successful years of governance with the support of all the people of this country.
 
 
GST Council approves introduction of simplified method
●        The Object and Service Tax (GST) Council approved the introduction of a new simplified method of filing returns every month in the next six months on 04 May 2018.
●        However, the composition dealer and zero transaction dealer can file a return on every quarter.

Sikka to start Artificial Intelligence venture
●        Vishal Sikka , former CEO of Infosys, is working on an Artificial Intelligence Venture.
●        About ten months ago he had to go to this Indian IT services company.
●        Coin indicated this venture in his speech at Silicon Valley Conference on Friday.

Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha will marry Anand Piramal
 
●        Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani is going to get married in December this year.
●        He will marry Ajay Piramal, son of Piramal Enterprises, Anand.

Marshal Arjan Singh Memorial All-India Hockey Tournament
●        Late Air Marshal Arjan Singh DFC of Indian Air Force was the first and only 'Panchasara' rank officer of the Indian Air Force, who was a great lover of hockey game.
●        Indian Air Force's stories have always been an inspiration to the Air Force's warriors and they have been playing a leading role not only in the battleground but in sports activities.
●        The first 'Marshal Arjan Singh Memorial' is being organized by the Indian Air Force Control Board, New Delhi to honor the great men of the All India Hockey Tournament.

Harendra Men's new coach
●        Harendra Singh , coach of the women's hockey team, was made the head coach of the Indian men's team on Tuesday while the men's team coach Shard Marinhas been handed over to the women's team after poor performance in the Commonwealth Games.
●        Harendra has been the coach of Indian men team before 2009-2011.
●        He was the coach of the women's team since November last year when Marin was made the coach of the men's team instead of the Renault Oltmanns.
 
Youth Olympics qualifier: Indian junior hockey team won gold
●        India's junior men's hockey team defeated Malaysia 2-1 in the Youth Olympics qualifiers in a shootout.
●        With this win, India will get an opportunity to participate in the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires in August.
●        This tournament was played in the format of Hockey Five. Match tied 4-4 at the scheduled time.
 

Indian team's command to Sunita to Asian Champions Trophy
●        For the Asian Champions Trophy tournament held in South Korea this month, the Indian Women's Hockey team has been handed over to veteran defender Sunita Lakra.

●        Prajnesh Gunneswaran defeated Mohammed Safam of Egypt in the final of the ongoing Kunming Open Tennis Tournament in Aning to win the first singles title in the ATP Challenger Circuit .
●        With this win, he will reach the top 200 ranking.
●        Recently, Pranesh, who won the last and final match against China in the Davis Cup, beat the Egyptian player 5-7 6-1, 6-3 in one hour and 52 minutes.


Hockey India recommends Arjuna Award for Manpreet, Savita
●        Hockey India (HI) has recommended the Arjuna Award for the Indian men's hockey team player Manpreet Singh and women's team's goalkeeper Savita.
●        In this announcement made on Wednesday, HI has recommended many veterans for Dronacharya and Major Dhyan Chand Award.
●        In addition to Savita and Manpreet, the AI has also named the experienced midfielder Dharamvir Singh of the Indian male team for the Arjuna Award.

Facebook will enter e-commerce through B2C marketplace

India's pharma exports will cross $ 20 billion by 2020

●        Ravi Uday Bhaskar , Director General, Pharma Export Promotion Council (Farm Gil) said this.
●        He said that despite countries like US, due to the reduction of exports, India will not have trouble reaching this goal.
 

Telecom aims to invest $20 billion
 
●        The Government has set a new telecom policy in 2018 to create 40 lakh new jobs and attract investment of $20 billion in the country by 2022 .
●        Simultaneously, the policy draft also aims to ensure coverage of 50 Mbps broadband for every citizen.
