Narendra Modi reviewed preparations for starting Ayushman Bharat scheme

●        Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the preparations for the launch of the National Health Protection Scheme "Ayushman India" announced in the Union Budget on Monday.

●        Under this scheme, health cover of Rs 5 lakh will be provided to every family.

●        Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has partnered with helicopter service provider Thambi Aviation to bring air travelers from the city.

PHFI got funds from abroad

●        The Public Health Foundation (PHFI) will have to seek pre-approval under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 before acceptance of each foreign fund.
●        Upon receipt of information about the alleged violation of the provisions of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010, renewal of registration of PHFI has been declared temporary from the beginning.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samta Yojna likely to generate 5,30,500 jobs

●        The Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Yojana being executed with the sovereign of 6,000 crores for the period of 2016-20 from the government will run until the expiry of the fourteenth Finance Commission.
●        This scheme is expected to benefit from 20 lakh farmers by 2019-20 and generate 5,30,500 jobs directly and indirectly.

Successfully implemented 10 lakh solar study lamps scheme

●        The new scheme for distribution of 70 lakh solar studies lamps in Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh was approved by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in December 2016, which is now in various stages of implementation.
