Prime Minister will inaugurate new building of Central Information Commission on March 6


●        Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new building of Central Information Commission (CIC) in Munirka, Delhi tomorrow.

●        Before this, the functioning of the commission has been operating from the two buildings of the rented house.

Sanction of seven road rehabilitation projects for Madhya Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Approves Five Road Revival Projects


●        The Standing Finance Committee of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved five road revival projects in Uttar Pradesh.
●        The existing road from Sunauli to Gorakhpur and Jungle Laudya to Mohdipurpur will be converted into four lanes by upgrading existing road on NH-29E through EPC mode.
●        The total length of the project is 17.52 km. It will be completed at a cost of 288.30 crores
 
Two road revival projects approved for Tamil Nadu


●        Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved two road revival projects in Tamil Nadu.
●        NH-234 (Gudiyatham Bypass and Vellore Bypass) on the existing two-lane road will be provided a permanent slope of 1.5 meters through EPC mode.
●        The total length of the project is 49.35 km.
●        It will be completed at a cost of 138.06 crores.
 
NHAI directed the Regional Officers to closely monitor the situation of National Highways
