Domino’s Pizza launches ‘Domino’s Essentials’ service
• Domino’s Pizza has partnered with ITC Foods to launch “Domino’s Essentials”.
Highlights of this Partnership:
• Through “Domino’s Essentials” service, everyday grocery essentials offered by ITC Foods will be delivered while leveraging the delivery infrastructure of Domino’s.
• This partnership aims to serve the community by ensuring uninterrupted supply of essential items at their doorsteps, without them having to step outside of their homes.
• The “Domino’s Essentials” service will be available for consumers via “Domino’s Essentials” section on the Domino’s app.
• Domino’s Pizza will leverage its supply chain and delivery network to deliver essential goods to the customers at their home.

Fitch Ratings cuts India’s GDP growth forecast to 2% for FY21
• Fitch Ratings has cut its GDP growth forecast for India to 2% for the fiscal year 2021.
• This will be the slowest growth in India over the past 30 years.
ADB Estimates India’s GDP for FY’21 at 4 Percent; 6.2% for FY’22
• The Asian Development Bank (ADB) released its latest Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2020 for financial year 2020-21 on 3rd April 2020.
• As per ADB, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in India is likely to slow down to 4 percent in FY21 (2020-21) on the back of the current global health emergency.
• However, ADB expects the Indian economy to further strengthen to 6.2 percent in the FY22 fiscal (2021-22).

Asian Games 2022 "smart triplets" mascots unveiled in digital ceremony
• The Olympic Council of Asia has announced the official mascots of the 19th Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou in 2022. The three robots namely Congcong, Lianlian and Chenchen which are collectively known as “The Smart Triplets” will be the official mascots of the 19th Asian Games.
• The robot ‘Congcong’ represents the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City. It derives its name from the Cong jade pendant — the quintessential relic unearthed from the ruins dating back 5,000 years. ‘Lianlian’ represents the West Lake and the name signifies a lake full of lush lotus leaves. Green stands for life and nature.The third mascot is ‘Chenchen’, which represents the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

• International Mine Awareness Day observed globally on 4 April every year. On 8 December 2005, the General Assembly declared that 4 April of each year shall be observed as the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.

डोमिनोज़ पिज्जा ने "डोमिनोज़ एसेंशियल" सेवा लॉन्च करने के लिए आईटीसी फूड्स के साथ साझेदारी की है। "डोमिनोज़ एसेंशियल" सेवा के जरिए आईटीसी फूड्स द्वारा रोजमर्रा की आवश्यक वस्तुएँ डोमिनोज़ के डिलीवरी नेटवर्क के माध्यम से लोगो तक पहुंचाई जाएंगी। इस साझेदारी का उद्देश्य लोगों के बिना घरों के बाहर निकले, उनके दरवाजे तक आवश्यक वस्तुओं की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करके जनता की सेवा करना है।
डोमिनोज़ ऐप पर "डोमिनोज़ एसेंशियल" सेक्शन से इस सेवा का लाभ उपभोक्ता उठा सकेंगे। डोमिनोज़ पिज्जा लोगों के घर तक आवश्यक सामान पहुंचाने के लिए अपने सप्लाई चेन और डिलीवरी नेटवर्क का इस्तेमाल करेगा।

फिच ने भारत के वृद्धि अनुमान को घटाकर 2% किया,
क्रेडिट रेटिंग एजेंसी फिच रेटिंग्स ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि उसने भारत के वृद्धि अनुमानों को घटाकर दो प्रतिशत कर दिया है। यह 30 साल का न्यूनतम स्तर होगा। पहले उसने अनुमान घटाकर 5.1 प्रतिशत किया था।
फिच रेटिंग्स ने एक बयान में कहा, ‘फिच को इस साल वैश्विक मंदी की आशंका है।

ओलंपिक काउंसिल ने "The Smart Triplets" को चुना 19 वें एशियाई खेलों का शुभंकर
• ओलंपिक काउंसिल ऑफ एशिया ने 2022 में हांग्जो में आयोजित होने वाले 19 वें एशियाई खेलों के आधिकारिक शुभंकर जारी करने की घोषणा है। "द स्मार्ट ट्रिपल" के नाम से फेमस इन तीन Congcong, Lianlian और Chenchen रोबोटों को 19 वें एशियाई खेलों का शुभंकर चुना गया है। चीन के हांगझोऊ में आयोजित एक डिजिटल लॉन्च समारोह में एशिया की ओलंपिक परिषद द्वारा शुभंकर का अनावरण किया गया।
स्मार्ट ट्रिपल":
• स्मार्ट ट्रिपल हांग्जो शहर और झेजियांग प्रांत के इंटरनेट कौशल को दर्शाता है। तीन रोबोटों में, 'कांगकॉन्ग' लिआंगझू शहर के पुरातात्विक धरोहरों को दर्शाता है, जबकि 'लियानलियन' पश्चिम झील का प्रतीक है जिसके कारण इसका नाम "लियानलियन" रखा रखा गया है जो एक झील है जो कमल के फूलों से भरी है। तीसरे रोबोट 'चेनचेन' में बीजिंग-हांग्जो ग्रैंड कैनाल को दर्शाता है।

प्रत्येक वर्ष 4 अप्रैल को विश्व स्तर पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खदान जागरूकता दिवस मनाया जाता है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने 8 दिसंबर 2005 को हर साल 4 अप्रैल को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खदान जागरूकता और खदान कार्य सहायता दिवस के रूप में मनाए जाने की घोषणा की थी। इस दिवस को पहली बार 4 अप्रैल 2006 को मनाया गया था।
यह दिन हर साल लैंडमाइंस (बारूदी सुरंगों) और उनके उन्मूलन की दिशा में की जा रही प्रगति के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से मनाया जाता है। "माइन एक्शन" में बारूदी सुरंगों और युद्ध के विस्फोटक अवशेषों को हटाने और खतरनाक क्षेत्रों को चिह्नित करने और बाड़ लगाने के प्रयासों की एक श्रृंखला है। साथ ही इसमें खान-प्रभावित इलाकों के पीड़ितों की सहायता करना, खान-पान की व्यवस्था और लोगों को इस माहोल में सुरक्षित रहने के लिए जागरूक करना और उन देशों में राष्ट्रीय खदान-कार्य क्षमता स्थापित करना और विकसित करने में सहायता करना जहां खदानों और विस्फोटक युद्ध अवशेष सुरक्षा के लिए एक गंभीर खतरा पैदा करते हैं. इसके लिए राज्यों द्वारा प्रयास, संयुक्त राष्ट्र और संबंधित संगठनों के साथ मिलकर सहायता की जाती है।
