India's first MSE sentiment Index released
 
●    Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Shri Arun Jaitley released Crisidaks here today, which is the first sentimental index of India developed jointly by CRISIL and SIDBI for small and micro enterprises.
●    Crisidex is a composite index that has been compiled by combining 8 different indices and it measures business thinking about small and medium sector scale from 0 to 200 .
●    Based on the information received from 1100 small and medium units in November-December 2017, these standards were decided.


Anand Karaj Marriage Act in Delhi
 
●    Delhi Legislature Anil Baijal has been approved by the Legislative Assembly for the registration of marriage of Sikhs on February 02, 2018, for the implementation of the Anand Karaj Marriage Act.
●    After this, after the 110-year conflict, the Anand Karaj Marriage Act finally came into effect in the national capital Delhi.
●    The demand for this act was first raised in 1909.


The country's fastest 'train 18' to begin
 
●    Indian Railways has announced the launch of India's fastest train so far in June 2018.
●    The biggest feature of this train is that it will not have a locomotive engine.
●    Instead, there will be train motors in each coach of the train, with the help of which all coaches will run on the tracks.
●    Another feature of this is that the train is made of steel and it is unmanned.
●    Train-18 is a completely indigenous train. All its compartments have been completed in India only.


Government has closed 50 lakh public accounts
 
●    The government told the parliament on Friday that till December 20, 2017, 49.50 lakh public funds have been closed.
●    About 50 percent of these accounts were from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
●    In these accounts, the account holder has done transactions in 24 months.

India won Under-19 World Cup
 
●    India has become the world champion for the fourth time by defeating Australia by 8 wickets in the Under-19 World Cup.
●    Manjot Kalra (100 *) scored a brilliant hundred by India in this match.
●    Apart from Manjot, there was also the Indian bowlers in this match, who put the Australian innings on 216 runs.


Women's T20 World Cup 2018
 
 
●    West Indies will host the Women's T20 World Cup in 2018
●    Women's T20 World Cup will be held in Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana and St. Lucia from West Indies from November 9 to November 24, 2018.
●    In addition to the West Indies team, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and England have qualified directly on the basis of ranking.

●    He was 79 years old.

Atal Pension Scheme in Small Finance Banks and Payments Banks
 
●    The Central Government has added mini finance banks and payment banks to expand the 'Atal Pension Scheme'.
●    Reserve Bank of India has licensed 11 payment (payment) banks and 10 small finance banks (small finance banks).
●    Payment banks and finance banks are brand new models in the banking world.

Prime Minister's Labor Award 
 
●    The Central Government announced the Prime Minister's Labor Awards for 2016.
●    This award will be given to 50 workers of departmental enterprises, public enterprises and private sector units.
●    This year, 32 labor prizes will be given, but the number of employees receiving this award is 50.
●    It includes three women.
 
 Padma Awards 2018 announced  
 
●    The country's second most prestigious civil honors Padma awards were announced on January 25, 2018.
●    President Ramnath Kovind announced the award of Padma to 85 individuals.
●    This time 3 Padma Vibhushan, Padmabhushan 9 and Padma Shri 73 will be given.
●    Among the award recipients there are 14 women.
●    Of the 16 foreigners who receive each major civil awards, each of the ten ASEAN countries is included.

Six new joint directors appointed in CBI
  
●    The Central Government has appointed six new joint directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
●    These include Praveen Sinha, senior police officer of Gujarat cadre.
●    Police officer Ajay Bhatnagar and Pankaj Kumar Shrivastav of Madhya Pradesh cadre have also been appointed as joint director in CBI.
●    Three officers of Indian Police Service (IPS), Sharad Agarwal, Gajendra Kumar Goswami and V Murugesen have also been appointed as joint directors of the CBI.

●    The UK government has created a new 'National Security Dialogue Unit' to deal with the growing problem of Fake News on January 24, 2018.
●    The mention of Fake News is entirely in the context of false information, photographs or videos, deliberately misrepresented and spreading confusion or misunderstanding among the people.
●    The new security unit launched in the UK is part of a comprehensive review of the country's defense capabilities.

Global environmental performance index
 
●    In the Global Environment Performance Index (EPI) report released in Davos, Switzerland, India is at a lower level compared to many countries in the world.
●    This index covers 180 countries, in which India is included in the list of the last five countries.
●    In the Global Environment Performance Index report, 24 categories of 10 categories have been prepared by research.
 
 American Express bought travel app Mazi
 
●    Multinational Financial Services Company American Express bought Travel App Mazi in an all-cash deal.
●    According to industry sources, the deal happened in approximately 12.5 to 15 million dollars (812-975 crores).
●    This app is developed by Pune-born twin brothers Swapnil and Snehal Shinde. Mazi started in 2015.
 

Getting 'Golden Visa' Costly 
 
●    Under the IB5 visa given to stay in the US, the minimum investment limit may increase soon.
●    Such visa holders can apply for green card by investing in the US.
●    That's why it is also called 'Golden Visa'.
●    The limit of investment in this scheme can be increased in February.
 
 Ban on the ads of cryptokransi on Facebook, Instagram
 
●    Social networking site Facebook has banned advertisements for trading of any types of crypto, intelligent coin offerings (ICO) and binary options on their platform.
●    It will also apply even on other applications of the company like Messenger, Audiences Network and Instagram.
