Exporting large number of dry coconuts to America and European countries for the first time
●        India was importing coconut oil till March 2017, now India has been exporting coconut oil to Malaysia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka from April 2017, with the first time exporting a large number of dry coconuts to America and European countries is
●        As compared to 9,561 hectares in 2010-14, 13,117 hectare area was brought under new plantation in the year 2014-18.


Inter state e-bill will be applicable in Chhattisgarh, Goa, Jammu Kashmir, Mizoram, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal
●        In order of GST Council decision, the e-way bill system for the inter-state transport of goods was implemented on April 1, 2018.
●        E-These bills are being successfully prepared and more than 630 million e-bill have been released till May 30, 2018, including 20 million Intra-State e-Pay bills.
  
1.5 lakh affordable houses for urban poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)
●        Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has approved the construction of 1.5 lakh and affordable houses for the benefit of the urban poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) with an investment of Rs. 7227 crores with central assistance of Rs. 2209 crores.
●        56512 houses have been approved in 22 cities and towns with an investment of Rs. 3184 crores with central assistance of Rs. 848 crores for Andhra Pradesh.
 

CBSE will organize Central Teacher Eligibility Test in 92 cities of the country on 16th September, 2018
●        The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will organize the Central Teacher Eligibility Examination (CTET) in 92 cities of the country on September 16, 2018 (Sunday).
●        This is the 11th edition of the seat.
●        Interested applicants to join the examination can apply online from June 22, 2018 (Friday).
 

Amit Khare took over as Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting
●        Amit Khare, IAS (Jharkhand: 1985) today took over as the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
●        Shri Narendra Kumar Sinha, IAS has retired from this post.
●        Prior to his appointment, Mr. Khare was working as Additional Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government.
●        During his career of more than 33 years, Mr. Khare has worked in many regional positions and he has the experience of doing work from both land and high administrative levels at both the center and the state.
 

Krishna Pal Gujjar announced the implantation of free device for the deaf children of Sikkim
●        Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Krishna Pal Gujjar has promised that the Central Government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 6 lakh for the implantation of the hearing device for economically weaker deaf children of Sikkim.
●        He announced this after today's performance in touching the hearts of Deaf and Divya school children at the inaugural function of 'Social Empowerment Camp' organized at Chintan Bhawan, Gangtok.
●        They snatched the group photos with the children and gave them citation.
 
 
Tourism Minister issued the first directive of the government on adventure tourism
●        Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) Shri K.J. Alfonz issued guidelines of Government of India on adventure tourism in New Delhi today.
●        As part of efforts to make the adventure sports safer, these guidelines, issued with safety and quality standards for adventure tourism in India, were created in collaboration with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOI).


Andhra Pradesh announces new political symbols
 
●        Four years after the division of Andhra Pradesh, new state symbols of the state were announced by the Environment, Forest, Science and Technology Department of Andhra Pradesh on May 30, 2018.
●        In this, the names of the state's political birds and state animals of Andhra Pradesh have been declared.
●        According to the government announcement, it was necessary to make this change after the split in state symbols, as it could ensure the identity of the state.

Agreement for additional financial assistance of $ 500 million in the Government of India and the World Bank
●        Under the Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) between the Government of India and the World Bank today, an agreement for $ 500 million loan was made to provide additional financial assistance to the rural road project.
●        Under this project implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development, 7,000 km roads have to be constructed, out of which 3,500 km will be constructed using green technology.
 
 
SAIL earned a net profit of Rs 816 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017-18
●        Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017-18 as well as for the entire financial year 2017-18.
●        After making a comeback in the third quarter of the financial year 2017-18, the company has made a net profit of Rs 816 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2017-18.
