Third scorpene submarine 'Karanj' was launched from Mazgaon Badargaon

●    On January 31, 2018, the third scorpion submarine manufactured by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited was launched by Mrs Reena Lamba, President of Navy Wives Welfare Association.
●    Earlier, the writings of Atharva Vedas were recited and after the traditional rituals the submarine was launched.
●    She named the submarine and named him Karanj.

IREDA and RUML signed the agreement for large solar parks in Madhya Pradesh

●    Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh started giving benefits to the government schemes to the needy under Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Development Scheme on January 26, 2018.
●    The objective of this scheme is to provide benefits to the needy people of the society.
●    Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh assured that the loan waiver scheme of farmers will be completed by November 2018.
●    Under this scheme 10.25 lakh farmers will be benefitted.

Madhya Pradesh Government launches Mission One Click Plan

●    Madhya Pradesh State Government has launched Mission One Click Scheme to distribute 30 types of scholarships in schools.
●    Madhya Pradesh Government has appointed the school education department as the nodal department to distribute online of 28 types of scholarship of 8 government departments through the overall education portal.
●    In this system, the profile of 1 million 48 lakh students studying in all government and private educational institutions of the state has been made online.
●    On the basis of which scholarship is calculated and its distribution has been ensured.
