 Himachal Pradesh government presented budget for 2018-19

●        Himachal Pradesh's budget was presented by the State Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. This is the first budget after the formation of the BJP government in the state.
●        Himachal Housing Scheme launched
●        This scheme will get LPG cylinders and stove which is not in Ujjwala scheme.
●        A provision of 12 crores has been made for this.
●        A provision of 277 crores for the provision of 111 small irrigation scheme for irrigation.

Passport will not be issued to the bureaucrats involved in corruption

●        According to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Personnel on March 29, 2018, government officials facing criminal or criminal charges will not be sanctioned from the Vigilance Department for the passports.

Earth-sized planet found outside the solar system

SEBI approves recommendations of Kotak Committee

●        The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the recommendations of the Kotak Committee for improvement in corporate governance on March 28, 2018.
●        Under this, the post of Chairman and MD in India's top-500 companies will be separated from April 2020.
●        So far this post is handled by the same person.

Reserve Bank to issue 350 rupees coin

●        On the one hand, small coins are continuing out of circulation, on the other hand the government is continuously launching coins of huge amount.
●        After issuing 10 rupees coins, the Reserve Bank of India is now preparing to issue coins of 350 rupees.
●        These coins will be issued to celebrate the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji.
●        The circumference of this coin will be 44 millimeters.
