Instructions for giving details of property to IAS officers

The Central Government has instructed all the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to complete the details of their total assets till January 31, 2018.
●    If the officials do not do this, they may face difficulties in promotion and foreign posting in the coming days.
●    The Central Personnel and Training Department (DOPT) has written a letter to all the departments, states and Union Territories of the central government and asked them to deposit real estate returns (IPR) by 31 January 2018 by the IAS officers.
●    According to DOPT 4 April 2011, the IAS officers who have not submitted the returns of immovable property within the stipulated deadline will not get necessary vigilance clearance for promotions and deployment in foreign countries.
●    According to these 2011 instructions, whatever officers do not provide relevant details, they will not get Vigilance clearance.
●    His name will not be considered in future for his promotion and appointment to senior level post in the Government of India.

Agreement for skill development between Uttar Pradesh and South Korea

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Cabinet of South Korea recently to promote tourism and trade.

Government to borrow additional Rs 50 thousand crore in January-March

After the GST came into force, the revenues falling constantly became the cause of concern for the government.

Amarinder Singh approves setting up of Punjab Startup Center

5% VAT in 2017 to Saudi Arabia and UAE

Afghanistan also joins China-Pak Economic Corridor

Uttar Pradesh Government launches 'Prakash Hai Hai Vikas Hai' scheme

The Uttar Pradesh Government launched a new scheme to give free electricity connections to the poor families of the state on December 25, 2017.
●    This scheme was started on the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
●    On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, the state's power minister Shrikant Sharma started the 'Prakash Hai Hai Vikas Hai' scheme from two villages of Mathura, Lohaban and Gausana.
●    On behalf of the state government, 100 percent electrification of these two villages was electrified.
●    The Central Government has set a target to provide electricity to 1.6 crore people by the end of 2018.
●    Under the good luck scheme by the Central Government, it is aimed to provide electricity to 40 million people. Out of this 25 lakh families have been provided electricity.
