Inauguration of the first phase of Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Delhi-Meerut Expressway
●        Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Sunday dedicated the two newly built Expressway Nation to Delhi National Capital Region.
●        Of these, the first 14-lane of Delhi-Meerut Expressway is accessed first phase, which stretches from Nizamuddin bridge to Delhi sub-boundary.
●        This part of 8.360 km of national highway has been prepared in record time of 18 months compared to the expected construction period of 30 months at a cost of approximately Rs 841.50 crore.

Only 4 percent of the users left LPG subsidies

Peer firm can buy supermarket chain

Approval for Online Courses
●        University Grants Commission (UGC) approved the degree, diploma and certificate courses for online courses in the field of higher education on May 24, 2018.

Demand for Vedanta to be excluded from London Stock Exchange
 
●        UK opposition party Labor Party has demanded to expel Vedanta from the London Stock Exchange , in view of the death of 13 people during a protest against Sterlite Industries Plant in Tuticorin in Tamilnadu .
●        Opposition leader John McDonald said in the UK that the cancellation of the listing of Vedanta Limited from the London Stock Exchange will stop losses to the reputation of the market as this company has been engaged in illegal mining activities for years.

8.55% interest on PF for 2017-18
●        The Employees Provident Fund Organization has asked its Regional Offices to add 8.55% interest to the accounts of 50 million shareholders for the financial year 2017-18.
●        This is the lowest after the financial year 2012-13.
●        According to a letter written to more than 120 Regional Offices of EPFO , the Labor Ministry has said that the Central Government has approved the interest rate of 8.55 per cent in the provident fund accounts of the shareholders for 2017-18.
 

 Railway wants to raise Rs 1,100 crore by selling land
 
●        Indian Railways wants to raise Rs.1100 crore by selling 15 hectares of land in Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.
●        Officials of Ministry of Railways told that two Builders, Eldeca of Noida and RNA Builders of Mumbai have bid for the land.
●        This land is 5 kms from Connaught Place. is far.
 
Estimated ₹ 50,000 crore loss in government banks
 
●        Public sector banks' losses (PSBs) are going to touch the figure of Rs 50,000 crore in the January-March 2018 quarter.
●        It is more than twice the record in itself and the loss of 19,000 crore rupees in January-March 2017.
