Cleanliness work plan for 10 new clean icon places
●        Today, 10 new heritage sites in the country created a work plan to increase their hygiene standards to a standardized level.
●        These places are: Shri Raghavendra Swamy Math Mantralaya (Andhra Pradesh), Thousand Diary Palace (West Bengal), Sri Brahma Sarovar Temple (Haryana), Vidur Kuti Temple (Uttar Pradesh), Mana Village (Uttarakhand), Pangong Tso (Jammu and Kashmir) , Shri Nag Vasuki Mandir (Uttar Pradesh), Nupty Keithel (Manipur), Sri Dharma Aastha Mandir (Kerala) and Kanvashram (Uttarakhand).
●        This is the third step of the Clean Permanent Places (SIP) with the coordination of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
●        This is the initiative of Swachh Bharat Mission.
 

Constitution of Committee for Standardization and Indigenization in Metro Rail System
●        The transport structure is one of the key factors for the country's progress.
●        Rapid industrialization, urbanization, globalization and urban centers, cities and cities are increasingly crowding the population.
●        There are 490 km of metro lines in ten cities of the country.

Visa discount to foreign designers in handicrafts sector

6 agreements between India and Seychelles 
 
●        Six agreements were signed during the visit of Seychelles President Danny Faroe to India on June 25, 2018.
●        During this time, India and Seychelles agreed to work together in accordance with the interests of each other on Agasson Island Project, moving forward defense relations.
●        India has announced a loan of $ 100 million for Seychelles to purchase defense equipment.


Court gives permission to ED to extradite Nirav Modi
 
●        The special court of Mumbai has allowed the extradition of Nirav Modi while accepting the ED 's application .
●        The ED had approached the Special Court against Neerav, accused of Rs.13,500 crore PNB scam.
 
 
Central government employees will not get overtime allowance
 
●        Now the Central Government employees will not get overtime allowance .
●        According to the order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, no employee will be given overtime allowance except the operational staff.
●        This step has been taken following recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission.


IKEA will open restaurant in India
 
●        The world's largest furniture maker, Ikea , is going to open the first store and restaurant in India .
●        The company's most special item will not be 'Swedish Meatballs'.
●        Next month, Ikea is going to open its 1,000-seater cafeteria in 37,000 square meters in Hyderabad.
●        In the restaurant some Indian cuisine will also be served.
●        Swedish meatballs will not be available with beef and pork.


Ministry of Women and Child Development released report on 'women in prisons'
 
●        The Central Women and Child Development Ministry has released a report on 'Women in Jails' on June 25, 2018.
●        Various changes have been suggested in National Adarsh Jail Manual 2016 in Reception to make it consistent with international standards.
●        In this report, 134 recommendations have been made so that improving the lives of closed women in prison.

The President has given national awards of excellent services in the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse.
●        President Shri Ramnath Kovind presented the National Award for Excellence in Excellence in the Prevention of Drugs and Drug Abuse on the occasion of International Day of Drug Abuse and Illegal Trade Negative Day in New Delhi.
●        This problem becomes even more complex due to the sensitive geographical location of India between Myanmar-Laos-Thailand's Golden Triangle and the areas known as 'Golden Crescent' of Iran-Afghanistan-Pakistan.

India-Australia Joint Ministerial Commission 15th meeting took place in Australia
●        The 15th meeting of the India-Australia Joint Ministerial Commission was held on June 25, 2018 in Canberra, Australia.
●        The meeting was chaired jointly by the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation, Shri Suresh Prabhu and Australia's Trade, Tourism and Investment Minister Mr. Steven Ciobo.
●        The meeting of the Joint Ministerial Commission was held in a goodwill environment after a gap of four years.

●        Chennai's R. Praggnanandhaa has become India's first youngest Grandmaster.
●        They are in second place with this achievement globally.
●        Praggnanandhaa has achieved this achievement only at the age of 12 years.
●        Praggnanandhaa achieved this achievement by reaching the final round of the Grenadin Open Chess Tournament in Italy.
 

University of Michigan researchers developed the world's smallest computer
 
●        'Micro Micro Mot', the world's smallest computer, has been developed by researchers from the University of Michigan of America.
●        Researchers have made this computer to help in the medical field.
●        In March 2018, IBM released a small computer, which was just one MM size, smaller than a salt grain.
●        But now scientists from the University of Michigan have made the world's smallest computer.
●        Its size is only 0.3 millimeters.


IndiGo Chief Commercial Officer Sanjay Kumar resigns
●        Indigo airline said on Monday that the company's Chief Commercial Officer Sanjay Kumar has resigned and now William Bolter will replace him.
●        IndiGo Airline Chairman and full time director Aditya Ghosh has also resigned two months ago.
●        His resignation will be effective from July 15.
●        Bolter is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of the airline and he will now take over the post of Kumar.

●        Daniel remained at the fourth place.

Tata Steel to raise Rs 12 billion
 
●        Tata Steel is preparing to raise Rs. 12 thousand crore from non-convertible debentures.
●        The company gave this information to the stock exchanges on Saturday.
●        The company will seek approval from the shareholders for the July 20 Annual General Meeting.
●        Earlier, Tata Steel had raised Rs 12,800 crore in March from the rights issue.
 

Jaiprakash Associates to Sell Cement Business to ACC 
 
●        Jaiprakash Associates Limited is talking to ACC Ltd , which is controlling Lafargeholms with the sale of the remaining part of its cement business .
●        This part has installed production capacity of about 55 lakh tonnes per annum.
●        JP Associates wants to sell it for Rs 5200 crores.
●        JP has given an exclusive liability agreement from ACC to July 31.
