Commerce Minister released Strategy Letter on Computer Software and Electronics Export
 
●        Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) has prepared a strategy letter to increase software exports to the level of US $ 178 billion by 2022.
●        Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Shri Suresh Prabhu released this strategy letter in New Delhi yesterday.

Ministry of Culture will organize National Culture Festival in Tehri, Uttarakhand from May 25 to May 27, 2018
●        Ministry of Culture is organizing 9th edition of National Culture Festival under India, Best India, from 25th to 27th May in Tehri, Uttarakhand.
●        Every year, the Tehri Lake Festival organized by Uttarakhand Tourism will be included in the National Culture Festival, where people can also enjoy water sports.
 
15th Finance Commission constituted a high-level committee to examine strengths and weaknesses to enable balanced expansion in health sector
●        The 15th Finance Commission has constituted a high level committee comprising experts from the country related to health sector.
●        Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, will be its convener.

Inauguration of photo exhibition on dynamic plans and projects on May 25
●        The Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation will organize a photo exhibition on various projects and major projects of the Center and large cultural programs at Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on May 25-26, 2018.
●        The exhibition will be inaugurated on May 25, 2018 at 5 pm.

●        The Policy Commission is bringing a big change in the industrial sector with the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP).
●        WAP was launched this year to set up a vibrant and competent system for women entrepreneurs across the country.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, rates of 1354 types of surgery and medical examination were decided.
●        In the world's largest health insurance scheme, the rates of 1354 types of surgery and medical examination have been fixed under the Ayushmann Bharat Scheme.
●        This scheme has been launched by the Prime Minister National Health Security Mission.
●        Under this scheme, about 50 crore people of the country will get health insurance of Rs 5 lakh.
 
Policy Commission and ABB joined hands for promotion of Artificial Intelligence
 
●        Policy Commission and ABB India have signed an agreement for development in the field of Robotic and Artificial Intelligence on May 23, 2018 under Make in India.
●        This agreement was aimed at promoting robotics in India and ensuring more space in the country for artificial intelligence.

Central Cabinet Approves Bankruptcy Amendment Ordinance
 
●        The Union Cabinet announced the amendment to the bankruptcy and bankruptcy code (IBC) Ordinance on May 23, 2018.
●        Changes in the Ordinance Bill will give the common people the right and big relief.
●        Under this law, so far only financial institutions such as banks and other lenders had the right to withdraw their dues, but the common people did not have any such right.

5th India-CLMV Business Conference held on May 21-22, 2018 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
●        The Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India organized a 5th India-CLMV Business Conference in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 21-22 May, 2018, along with the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia.
●        After four sessions of business conferences in India for better participation from this region, the initiative was taken by the Department of Commerce of the Government of India in Cambodia.
●        The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is an institutional partner in this program.
 
India and Netherlands negotiate on strengthening mutual partnership in agriculture and related sectors
●        Hon'ble Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister, Shri Radha Mohan Singh held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Minister Ms. Karola Shutane on 24 May, 2018.
●        The first successful saga of technology transfer is reflected on 02.11.2017 from the inauguration of the Center for Excellence related to Vegetables in Baramati, Maharashtra. The second floral excellence center is being built in Talegaon Maharashtra, which will be completed shortly.

Central Tax, Eastern Delhi Commissionerate arrested two people in connection with theft of GST of Rs 28 crore
●        Central Tax, GST East Delhi Commissionerate arrested the father-son in Shahdara on May 22, 2018 in connection with the issue of Input Tax Credit Invoice fraud under theft of about 28 crore rupees belonging to the copper industry.
●        This is the first case of arrest in Delhi under the new tax regime which took effect from 1st July, 2017.

INSV Tarini team was awarded the Women Power Award 2017
●        Central Women and Child Development Minister, Mrs. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi presented the prestigious Women's Power Award 2017 to the team of INSV Tarini in New Delhi today.

●        Cunningham is the first woman to reach the president position, after 226 years have passed since the existence of the New York Stock Exchange in 1792.
 
Memorandum of Understanding between India and Singapore in the field of Personnel Management and Public Administration
●        The Union Cabinet gave its approval for signing the Memorandum of Understanding between India and Singapore for cooperation in the field of Personnel Management and Public Administration on May 23, 2018.
●        This meeting took place under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
●        The purpose of the MoU is to improve the current system of governance, especially in the workforce, workplace and job, public service delivery, human resources management, public sector reform, leadership / talent development and e-governance and digital government.
