Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor
●        Visakhapatnam- Two nodes of Chennai Industrial Corridor (i) Visakhapatnam and (ii) Master Planning of Yerpedu-Srikalahasti is still going on.
●        Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the amount of US $ 631 million in loans and grants for the VCIC.
 
 
Guide to more than 550 new ventures for early assistance and financial help
●        Startup India provided consultancy services to more than 550 new companies for initial aid and financial help till June 2018, 220000 lakhs were registered and more than one lakh questions were answered.
●        As per the second phase of the startup India program announced in May 2018, a total of eighty centers including the Atal Incubation centers and established incubation centers were selected by the Commission for financial assistance.
●        In the first phase, 19 incubation centers were selected during the year 2017-18.
 
 
Government constituted a high level committee under the chairmanship of Union Home Secretary to control mobs lynching
●        The Government respects the guidelines given by the Supreme Court in the matter of mob violence.
●        The government has advised the State Governments to take effective steps to prevent incidents of massacre by the mob and mob violence and in such cases, take strict action according to the law.
●        State Governments have been advised to implement the guidelines given by the Supreme Court on July 17, 2018.
 
 
 Launch of 'Delhi Metro Rail' app
●        Launching the upgraded version of the 'Delhi Metro Rail' mobile app, Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and DMRC Durga Shankar Mishra said that through this app, metro passenger, nearest metro station, fare, first and last metro Time etc. will be easily available.
●        In this advanced version many new features have been added, such as the nearest metro station information, the passengers' responses, the smallest road information etc.
 
MSME Ministry will send teams in 117 aspiring districts to increase awareness about their plans
●        The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will send teams of officers in the 117 most backward and Naxal affected aspiring districts identified by the Commission for increasing awareness about their current plans.
●        It is also aimed at achieving proposals for setting up and strengthening micro and small enterprises.
●        This information was given by the Minister of State for MSME, Shri Giriraj Singh in the Lok Sabha today.

Unemployed employees can withdraw 75% from PF

McDonald's making diesel from cooking oil
