Union Home Minister launched Student Police Cadet Program for nationwide implementation
●        Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today launched the Student Police Cadet Program for nationwide implementation at a function in Gurugram of Haryana today.
●        In his address on this occasion, he hoped the Home Minister hoped that the SPC would create a silent revolution by establishing moral values in the minds that develop.


Construction of Multi-Model Terminal at Ganga River in Varanasi
 
●        Construction of multi-modal terminal (MMT) being built at Varanasi at a cost of Rs 169.59 crores will be completed by November this year.

●        Construction of MMT constructed at a cost of Rs 280.90 crores in Sahibganj will be completed by May, 2019.

HDFC Bank's net profit up by Rs 4,601 crore

●        The bank told the stock exchange that its total income increased by 18.8 percent to Rs 26,367 crore in the April-June quarter, which was Rs 22,185.40 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2017.

●        The Life Insurance Corporation of India has got approval from the board of directors for the acquisition of 51 percent stake in public sector IDBI Bank.
●        Economic Affairs Secretary SC Garg gave this information on Monday.
●        LIC will now get the approval of the Securities and Exchange Board of India for this.
●        Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has already approved the purchase of this stake to the company.

 
Bihar gets SC-ST reservation now in promotion
