Ranjan Gogoi takes oath as Member of Rajya Sabha
• Ranjan Gogoi has served as the 46th Chief Justice of India. During his 13-month long tenure as the Chief Justice of India, various landmark decisions were delivered by the Supreme Court including the Ayodhya case, on the decriminalisation of homosexuality, the entry of women into Kerala’s Sabarimala temple and the Rafale jet deal along with Assam’s National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Arundhati Bhattacharya appointed Salesforce India CEO
• Former SBI chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya will be the CEO of Salesforce India. Arundhati Bhattacharya will take over as Chairman and CEO of Salesforce India in April 2020.
• Salesforce India is among the top companies of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software worldwide. Arundhati Bhattacharya is also currently working as an independent director at Wipro.
Noel Quinn Appointed as the permanent chief executive of HSBC
• HSBC Holdings Plc has appointed Noel Quinn as the permanent CEO of the bank on 17 March 2020.
• Quinn had been serving as interim CEO since August 2019, after the unexpected resignation of John Flint from the post.
• Mr Quinn had been working with the bank for over 30 years, after joining the lender in 1987.

पूर्व CJI रंजन गोगोई ने ली राज्यसभा सदस्य के रूप में शपथ
विवादों के बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व चीफ जस्टिस रंजन गोगोई ने राज्यसभा सदस्य के रूप में शपथ ली। रंजन गोगोई सदन में जब शपथ ले रहे थे तो कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व में विपक्ष के कुछ सांसदों ने हंगामा किया। उन्होंने शेम-शेम के नारे भी लगाए और सदन से वॉकआउट कर गए।
इसके बाद कानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने विपक्ष पर पलटवार किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले भी कई पूर्व CJI और मशहूर हस्तियां इस सदन का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं। उन्होंने योगदान भी दिया, हमें उम्मीद है आज भी ऐसा होगा। वहीं, सभापति ने कहा कि सदन के बाहर किसी की भी राय की हम चिंता नहीं करते, लेकिन यहां हमें यह समझना होगा कि राष्ट्रपति के नामांकन को सच्ची भावना से माना जाना चाहिए।

भारत के सीईओ के रूप में सेल्सफोर्स के पूर्व बैंकर अरुंधति भट्टाचार्य:
यू.एस. क्लाउड-आधारित सेवा प्रदाता सेल्सफोर्स डॉट कॉम ने भारत के सबसे प्रसिद्ध पूर्व बैंकरों में से एक अरुंधति भट्टाचार्य को अपने भारत के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी के रूप में नियुक्त किया है।
भट्टाचार्य ने पहले भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) का नेतृत्व किया, जो देश का सबसे बड़ा ऋणदाता था, और 200 से अधिक वर्षीय बैंक का नेतृत्व करने वाली पहली महिला थी। विभिन्न भूमिकाओं में चार दशक बिताने के बाद वह 2017 में एसबीआई से सेवानिवृत्त हुईं।
नोएल क्विन को बहु-राष्ट्रीय बैंक के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
नोएल क्विन को यूरोप के सबसे बड़े बैंक और बहुराष्ट्रीय निवेश बैंक एचएसबीसी (HSBC) का मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है। नोएल क्विन 1987 में एचएसबीसी बैंक में शामिल हुए थे। उन्होंने पिछले सीईओ जॉन फ्लिंट का स्थान लिया है।
