Manoj Sinha inaugurated the Parcel Directorate


●        Inaugurating the newly created Parcel Directorate in the Department of Posts, the Minister of State for Communications (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Railways Shri Manoj Sinha said, "This is another important step taken by the Department of Posts in the journey of change.
●        There has been a decline in the correspondence globally and India is no exception, but this has resulted in huge increase in packets and parcels.
 
Environmental Forest and Climate Change Ministry formulated the new draft Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification, 2018


●        The Ministry of Environment and Forests has formulated the new draft Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification, 2018.
●        The draft notification has been uploaded on April 18, 2018 on the Ministry's website.
●        People have been asked to comment in 60 days from the date of uploading the draft notification.

●        However, this auction will be under the supervision of Afsal Receiver and Liquidator, who has been made in-charge of the auction process.
●        The outstanding amount on Sahara Group has been more than Rs.7000 crores.
●        There is no interest involved in this.
●        Outstanding arrears from the auction will be done.

Dilip Shanghvi buys 3.8% stake in Unichem
 
●        Sun Pharma owner and billionaire promoter Dilip Shanghvi has bought 3.8% stake in Unichem Laboratories over the past few months.
●        He has done this investment through his companies Alrox Investment, Family Investment and Airborne Investments.
●        This information was received by Unichem's shareholding pattern.
●        By March 31, 2018, Alrox Investment and Finance had 1.46% share of Unichem, while Family Investment had 1.28% and Airborean had 1.02% stake.

TCS profit up by 4.4%


●        Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT company in the country, released the results of the last quarter of the last financial year on Thursday.
●        On an annual basis, TCS's profit has increased 4.4%.
●        TCS net profit for the March quarter rose by 4.4% to Rs 6,904 crore.
 
IndusInd Bank profits up 26% in Q4


●        IndusInd Bank Ltd. The fourth quarter profit has increased according to estimates.
●        The reason for this is the stable asset quality of the bank.
●        According to the results announced in the last quarter of FY 2017-18, net profits increased 26.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 953 crore.
●        The bank said that net income increased by 20.4 percent to 2,007.6 percent from its interest.
