● India's average export rate in fish has been the highest in the world in the last decade with an increase of 14%.
● Fish production in the country has increased 27% in 2014-18 compared to 2010-14.
Environment Ministry constituted 19 parties for cleaning coastal coasts, river banks and lakes in 9 coastal states
● Given the World Environment Day, 2018, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has formed 19 parties for cleaning the coastal areas, river banks and lakes in the country.
● There will be cleaning of 24 river banks of 9 coastal states (list enclosed) and 24 river banks of 19 states (list enclosed).
'Green Skill Development Program' to train 5.5 lakh youth by 2021

10 agreements signed between Haryana and UK

● माननीय केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री राधा मोहन सिंह ने “समुद्री मात्स्यिकी” विषय पर चर्चा के लिए समुद्र तटीय राज्यों के माननीय मत्स्य-मंत्रियों की बैठक में उन्हें संबोधित किया।
● मछली में भारत की औसत निर्यात दर पिछले एक दशक में 14% की वृद्धि दर के साथ विश्व में सर्वाधिक रही है।
● देश में मछली उत्पादन में 2010-14 के मुकाबले 2014-18 में 27% की वृद्धि हुई है।
पर्यावरण मंत्रालय ने 9 तटीय राज्यों में समुद्री किनारों, नदी के तटों और झीलों की सफाई के लिए 19 दलों का गठन किया
● पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस, 2018 को देखते हुए देश में समुद्री किनारों, नदी तटों और झीलों की सफाई के लिए 19 दलों का गठन किया है।
● 9 तटीय राज्यों (सूची संलग्न) के लगभग 24 समुद्री किनारों और 19 राज्यों (सूची संलग्न) के 24 नदी तटों की सफाई कराई जाएगी।
2021 तक 5.5 लाख युवाओं को प्रशिक्षित करने हेतु ‘हरित कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम’ आरंभ
● केंद्रीय वन, पर्यावरण एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने 14 मई 2018 को हरित कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम आरंभ किया।
● इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण के संरक्षण के लिए कुशल कार्यबल की बढ़ती मांग को पूरा करना है।

स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2018 रिपोर्ट: इंदौर दूसरे वर्ष भी सबसे स्वच्छ शहर
● स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के तहत किये गए सर्वेक्षण के तहत 16 मई 2018 को परिणाम घोषित किए गए।
● इस वर्ष के सर्वेक्षण परिणामों में इंदौर लगातार दूसरी बार सबसे स्वच्छ शहर घोषित किया गया जबकि राजधानी की श्रेणी में मुंबई को स्वच्छता के मामले में देश में पहला स्थान मिला है।
वाणिज्य विभाग में व्यापार उपाय महानिदेशालय (डीजीटीआर) का गठन
● वाणिज्य विभाग ने वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय में व्यापार उपाय महानिदेशालय के गठन के लिए औपचारिक तौर पर अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है।
● माननीय वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री श्री सुरेश प्रभु ने 7 मई को इस संदर्भ में भारत सरकार (व्यापार आबंटन) नियम, 1961 में भारत सरकार के संशोधन के बाद वाणिज्य विभाग में डीजीटीआर के गठन के प्रस्ताव को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है।
लैंगिक असमानता के कारण भारत में प्रतिवर्ष 2,39,000 लड़कियों की हत्या: लांसेट रिपोर्ट
● अंतरराष्ट्रीय शोध संस्था द लासेंट द्वारा 15 मई 2018 को जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत में प्रतिवर्ष लैंगिक भेदभाव के कारण 2,39,000 नवजात लड़कियों को मारा जाता है।
● लांसेट की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार लड़कियां भारत में बेटों के लिए समाज की प्राथमिकता के परिणामस्वरूप उपेक्षा के कारण मारी जा रही है।
● शोधकर्ताओं द्वारा यह रिपोर्ट द लांसेट मेडिकल जर्नल में प्रकाशित की गई।

डब्लूएचओ ने 2023 तक खाद्य पदार्थों से ट्रांस फैट एसिड समाप्ति हेतु रिप्लेस गाइड जारी की
● विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने 15 मई 2018 को रिप्लेस गाइड जारी की।
● इसका उद्देश्य वर्ष 2023 तक खाद्य पदार्थों में से ट्रांस फैट एसिड को समाप्त करना है।
● विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के अनुसार, ट्रांस फैट से होने वाले हृदय रोगों से प्रत्येक वर्ष विश्व भर में 5,00,000 से अधिक लोगों की मृत्यु होती है।
चीन ने भारत को समर्पित पहला निवेश फंड लॉन्च किया
● चीन के एक सरकारी बैंक ने भारत के लिए समर्पित देश का पहला सार्वजनिक निर्गम वाला निवेश फंड लांच किया है।
● दहाई अंकों की दर से विकास करने की संभावना के कारण भारतीय बाजार चीन के निवेशकों के लिए सर्वोत्तम निवेश अवसर प्रस्तुत करता है।

2028 तक दुनिया का सबसे अधिक आबादी वाला शहर होगा दिल्ली: यूएन रिपोर्ट
● संयुक्त राष्ट्र के नए अनुमानों के मुताबिक वर्ष 2028 के आसपास दिल्ली दुनिया का सबसे अधिक आबादी वाला शहर बनने की संभावना है।
● संयुक्त राष्ट्र के अनुसार वर्ष 2050 तक दुनिया की शहरी आबादी में भारत का योगदान सबसे अधिक होने के आसार हैं।
हरियाणा और ब्रिटेन में 10 समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर
● हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर के ब्रिटेन दौरे के दौरान 10 समझौता ज्ञापनों (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किये गये।
● इन एमओयू से राज्य में करीब 1500 करोड़ का निवेश तथा एक हजार लोगों को सीधे रोजगार मिलने का अनुमान है।

● राष्ट्रपति ने श्री उत्तम पछरने को ललित कला अकादमी का नियमित अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है।

● कला के क्षेत्र में उन्हें दूर-दूर तक सम्मान प्राप्त है और वह विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर रह चुके हैं।
वैज्ञानिकों ने याददाश्त का प्रत्यारोपण करने का दावा किया
● वैज्ञानिकों के एक समूह द्वारा हाल ही किए गये शोध में दावा किया गया है कि उन्होंने याद्दाश्त को एक जीव से निकालकर दूसरे जीव में प्रत्यारोपित किया है।
● वैज्ञानिकों की इस टीम ने कहा है कि हमारे मस्तिष्क में मौजूद याद्दाश्त जेनेटिक कोड में रखी होती हैं जिसे मेमोरी सूप भी कहा जा सकता है।
