Prime Minister inaugurates development projects in Manipur


●        Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 750 crore in Manipur.
●        He laid the foundation stone of National Sports University, 1000 Anganwadi Centers or several other important development schemes.
●        They inaugurated the Luangpokapa multi-sports complex, Rani Gaidinliu Park and other important development projects.
 
 
Prime Minister will inaugurate organic farming portal
 
●        Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addresses the annual 'Krishi Upgradation Fair' in Indian Agricultural Research Institute, IARI Pusa Complex, in New Delhi on 17th March. They will address the farmers, launch the portal on organic farming and also lay the foundation stone of 25 Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
●        On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also provide "Krishi Karman" and "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Agricultural Science Incentive" award.
●        The theme of this fair is to double the income of the farmers till 2022.
 
 India will host the annual conference of the International Competition Network for the first time


●        India will organize 17th National Conference of International Competitiveness Network 2018 from 21 March to 23 March 2018 in New Delhi.
●        Addressing the Press Conference, Chairman of Indian Competitiveness Commission Mr. Devendra Singh Sikri said that after joining the International Competitiveness Network (ICN) in 2009, India is going to organize an annual conference of 2018 International Competition Network for the first time.

School health program


●        Under the National Health Mission, the Government of India has introduced National Child Health Program (RBSK) for the year 2013 to examine all the children of age group of 0-18 years, including school children for delaying 4D-D, Disease and development, including specific diseases for 30 selected health conditions. ) Is running.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announces 'Lakshya' program


●        The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced a 'Target' program recently on 15th March 2018 with the aim of improving the quality of care in the Maternity Home and Operation Room.
●        This program improves the care of pregnant women in the delivery room, operation theater and maternity intensive care units (ICU), high dependency units (HDU).
●        The target program is being implemented in all Medical College Hospitals, District Hospitals and First Referral Unit (FRU) and Community Health Centers (CHC).
 
 Assamese buffalo cloning for the first time in India


●        Indian scientists have claimed success in cloning technology for the first time born of Assamese breed buffalo.
●        The team of scientists of the Central Buffalo Research Institute (CIRB) used a special method.
●        Having achieved this success in creating a clone of Assamese buffalo. Its name was 'true pride'.
●        Its delivery was normal, this clone was born from Murrah buffaloes womb. Its weight is 54.2 kg.

 India and ADB signed a $ 120 million loan agreement to improve the infrastructure of the railway


●        Government of India and Asian Development Bank (ADB) today signed a loan agreement of $ 120 million to fulfill the activities related to electrification, as well as transforming railway tracks into double line to improve the operational efficiency of Indian Railways.
●        This third installment of loan is a part of the multi-financing funding facility of USD 500 million connected to the Rail Sector Investment Program approved by ADB Board in 2011.
●        This loan amount will be used to complete the works initiated under the previous installments.

●        He was a friend of India and he traveled twice of our country.
●        The common man knows Hawking's name not because he worked on the black hole, but because he expressed abnormally high resolution and despite all the obstacles worked with a strong sense.

India ranked 78th in energy transition index
 
●        India has been ranked 78th on the list of 114 countries of the Energy Transition Index (WEF) of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
●        Sweden has topped the list.
●        According to the report 'Fostering Effective Energy Transition', the countries in this index have been placed on the basis of how they are able to balance energy security and to what extent the environment is able to conserve and economically reach.
 
Delhi ranked 10th in the list of cheapest cities in the world
 
●        The list of the world's cheapest and most expensive cities was released under the Worldwide Cost of Living 2018 survey of the Economist Intelligence Unit.
●        Top 10 cheap cities include three cities of India.
●        In this survey list of 2018, Bangalore, Chennai and New Delhi are among the cheapest cities.
●        The most expensive city in the world is Singapore and Damascus is the cheapest city.
 
India ranks 99th in FIFA rankings
 
●        India ranked 99th in the world ranking released by FIFA on March 15, 2018.
