IIIDEM organized a three-day consultation / study tour for the delegation of Independent National Election Commission of Madagascar

●        Indian Institute of International Democracy and Electoral Management (IIIDE) organized a three-day consultation / study tour from 7 to 9 February 2018 in the Election House of Election Commission of India for the delegation of Independent National Election Commission (CEI) of Madagascar. .
●        The three-member delegation included CNI, Madagascar Chairman and other senior officials.
●        The delegation visited the ECI to understand the interpretation skills in view of their presidential election to be held in December 2018.
 
Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry, chaired a meeting organized to create an economy of 5 trillion US dollars in 7 years.
 
●        Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Suresh Prabhu presided over a meeting of a working group organized today to make India an economy of 5 trillion US Dollars (trillion) in 7 years.

Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation awarded for good implementation of e-office best practices

●        Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Union Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, gave confession certificate to the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS) yesterday for implementing e-office software.
●        Award from the Ministry HOD, NIC-MDWS joint secretary Mr. Satyavrat Sahu and senior technical director Smt. Sreemanti Sengupta took it at a function.

Ramnath Kovind inaugurated Hindi secretariat in Mauritius
 
●        President Obama inaugurated the World Hindi Secretariat building on the third day of his visit to Mauritius on March 14, 2018, by President Ramnath Kovind.
●        President Kovind laid the foundation of a major hospital in ENT with a social housing project and Indian help as well as launching the World Hindi Secretariat logo and early digital learning program.
 
NCRB launches 'Citizen Service' mobile app
 
●        National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) launched the 'Citizen Service' mobile app for citizen services on March 11, 2018.
●        Director of Intelligence (IB) Rajiv Jain launched mobile app in the presence of AD Bureau Maheshwari, Director General of Police Bureau Research Department on the 33rd raising day of NCRB.
●        This mobile app will increase connectivity between the police and the citizens and the services will be operated smoothly and smoothly.

●        The Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan has launched an integrated portal for consumer services ie jagograhakjago.gov.in on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day.
●        The Union Minister gave special emphasis on important consumer rights such as security, information, options, lodging complaints and disposal of complaints.
●        Paswan also said that consumers have every right to know what they are spending on.

International Consumer Rights Day was celebrated on March 15

●        International consumer day was celebrated worldwide on March 15, 2017. The topic of this day - Making Digital Marketplace is Fair.
