Prime Minister will inaugurate health and welfare center in Chhattisgarh


●        On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Bijapur in Asangaish district in Chhattisgarh tomorrow.
●        They will inaugurate a health and welfare center in connection with the launch of the ambitious health assurance program of the Central Government- Ayushman India.
●        Prime Minister will visit the Jangla Development Center in Bijapur district.
●        They will talk to many people during the nearly one-hour period spent there.
●        Information about the development aspects will also be given to the Prime Minister.

Bhanu Pratap Sharma appointed chairman of the bank board bureau


●        The Central Government has announced Bhanu Pratap Sharma as the Chairman of the Bank Board Bureau.
●        He has been given this post in place of former CAG chief Vinod Rai.
●        Apart from these, three other members Vedika Bhandarkar, P Pradeep Kumar and Pradeep P Shah have also been appointed by the government.

Change in BHIM app 


●        Bharat Interface for Mobile, which was launched by the Central Government last year, is now completely changing.
●        To make it even better, the government is keeping an eye on Google Tea, Phone Pay etc.
●        With effect from April 14 (the accession of Babasaheb Ambedkar), cashback and some incentive (incentive money) will be given on payment made through this app.

●        The chairpersons of the judges of the National Film Awards, Non-Feature, Writing Categories and the members of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award Committee announced the 65th National Film Awards for the year 2017 in different categories.
●        The panel of feature films was chaired by Hindi film director and famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who is known for his excellent work in the international arena.

Pakistan Supreme Court declares former prime minister Nawaz Sharif lifetime disqualification for politics
 
●        Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified for the lifetime of the Supreme Court by assuming public office on 13th April, 2018.
●        It means that now they will never be able to rule in life.
●        The Bench of five judges disqualified Nawaz Sharif under Article 62 (1) (f) of the Constitution.
 
 
Bangladesh government ends reservation in government jobs


●        Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced the ending of reservation in government jobs on April 11, 2018.
●        At present 56% seats are reserved for the government sector.
●        Although Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the government can have special quotas in jobs for disabled persons and the backward.
●        Announcing this among the demonstrations being performed by thousands of protesters to end the reservation, the Prime Minister said that special provisions will be made for different groups.

Apple launches trial production of iPhone 6S in India
 
●        Apple has started trial production of its best-selling smartphone brand iPhone 6S Plus in India.
●        Two senior executives of the industry said that it is being made in Taiwan's contract manufacturing manufacturing company based in Bangalore-based Vistron's Bangalore.
●        After the introduction of the iPhone 6S Plus's commercial production, its prices may also change.
 
DP World can make big investments in Mumbai JNPT


●        In the major global operators of Marine and Inland Terminals, DP World is creating a logistics hub in the country and is interested in managing the Free Trade Zone in Mumbai's Jawaharlal Nehru Port Terminal.
●        In the JNPT, the country's largest port, DP World can bid for a free trade zone to be built in 277 hectares of special economic zones.
●        A senior official of the shipping ministry said that if Dubai's company bid is chosen, then it can invest about Rs 1,000 crore in this project.

●        The Global Economic Freedom Index-2012 was released on April 12, 2018 by the American Research Institute 'The Heritage Foundation'.
●        This index reflects India's performance in the global economy.
●        India has been ranked 130th in this index for the year 2018.
●        India has improved 13 places this year compared to last year.
●        India has reached 143 to 130th position.
 

Tax Exemption To Startups With Investment up to 10 Crore


●        Granting the tax rebate (concession) has given great relief to the emerging entrepreneurs.
●        According to the notification issued on behalf of the Commerce and Industry Ministry, the minimum investor's desire to take a steak in startup should be Rs 2 crore or more than Rs 25 lakh in the last three financial years.
●        Under section 56 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, many startups expressed concern about taxation related to Angel Funds.

●        Reliance Industries is going to buy the bankrupt textile company Alok Industries.
●        Most lending banks have given green signal to the resolution plan offered by Mukesh Ambani's company to buy Alok Industries.

●        India's Anish Bhanwala on Friday created history in the Commonwealth Games.
●        He became the youngest player to win the gold medal for India in the Commonwealth Games.
●        The 15-year-old Bhanwala won a gold medal in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol in the Gold Coast, Australia.
●        This is Anish's first Commonwealth Games.
 
Leander Paes becomes the most successful doubles player in Davis Cup


●        India's legendary tennis player Leander Paes has become the most successful doubles player in the Davis Cup history on Saturday.
