K Super 50
●        The Kashmir Super 50 program is a joint initiative of Indian Army, Center for Social Responsibility and Leadership and Petronet LNG Limited.
●        This program was started on March 22, 2013 with the aim of making changes in the academic position of the children of economically weaker sections in the Kashmir region.

Launch of the third phase of ten new clean tourist destinations under Clean India Mission
●        Work has been started at ten new important places under the third phase of Clean Iconic Project, the flagship project of Swachh Bharat Mission.
●        These ten new iconic sites include Raghavendra Swamy Temple (Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh); Thousandwari Palace (Murshidabad, West Bengal); Brahma Sarovar Temple (Kurukshetra, Haryana); Vidur Kuti (Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh); Mana village (Chamoli, Uttarakhand); Lake Pangang (Leh-Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir); Nagavasuki Temple (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh); Imma Kaithal / Market (Imphal, Manipur); Sabarimala Temple (Kerala); And Kanvashram (Uttarakhand).

 
KVIC distributed 2330 bee boxes in Kashmir

●        Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has set a world record by distributing most bee boxes in one day.
●        KVIC distributed this in the Wild Army area of Kupwara in Kashmir.
●        Earlier, on the occasion of World Bee Day, KVIC had set a record by distributing 1000 bee boxes among the Missing Tribe community in Kaziranga forest area.

●        The Atal Innovation Mission of the Policy Commission has selected 3,000 more schools to set up the Atal Tinkering Lab.

Center launches 5000 Wi-Fi Choupal centers in villages

 
●        The Central Government launched the delivery of 5,000 Wi-Fi Choupal and railway tickets in villages through General Services Center on June 11, 2018.
●        This service was inaugurated by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in New Delhi.

 
India's first police museum will be built in Delhi

 
●        The Central Government has decided to set up India's first police museum in Lutyens' Delhi.
●        An underground museum will be built in the National Police Memorial Complex in Chanakyapuri area of the National Capital.
●        This museum will get a chance to know the history of central and state police forces.
●        Along with this, artwork, uniforms and other materials related to them will be displayed.
●        Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Home Minister Rajnath Singh will launch it on October 21 (Police Memorial Day).


Mauritius will host the 11th World Hindi Conference

Indo-Nepal joint exercises Sun Kiran-XIII concluded

●        The training ended with an outdoor practice of 72 hours, in which the squads of both squads trained in siege and search in the fierce anti-insurgency village.

14.30 crores sanctioned for sports at block level in Jammu and Kashmir
●        Under the 'Play India' scheme of the sports ministry of the Government of India, grants-in-aid of 14.30 crores has been sanctioned for the block level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
●        In 143 blocks of all 22 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Rs 10 lakh per block will be spent under this scheme.
