Prime Minister inaugurated ASI's new headquarters in New Delhi
●        Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new headquarters of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) - Dharohar Bhawan - on the Tilak Marg in New Delhi today.
●        On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the Archaeological Survey of India has done important work in the last 150 years.
 

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Indian Army and State Bank of India on Defense Pay Package
●        A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Indian Army and State Bank of India on July 12, 2018 on the Defense Pay package.
●        Under the agreement signing ceremony, the Director General, Lieutenant General S.K. Saini did and the top officials of SBI joined Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mishra, CGM (PB), Corporate Center, State Bank Building, Mumbai.

Launch of projects for improving the connectivity of NH-16 from Vizag port
 
●        Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Protection Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone of National Highway and Port Connectivity Projects in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of 6,688 crores in a program organized at Visakhapatnam yesterday.
●        These projects will improve connectivity between Chennai and Kolkata and also reduce travel time between the two cities.
●        Also, these projects will reduce the traffic congestion in Visakhapatnam city.

Telecom Commission Approves New Policy

●        Telecom Commission has approved the new policy for telecom sector .
●        The aim of this policy is to create 40 lakh new jobs, bring investment of more than $ 100 billion in the country by 2022, improve the doze business, and use new technology to increase connectivity.

Government Approves Net Neutrality
 
●        India has long been demanding net neutrality, under which the Indian government approved Net Neutrality on July 11, 2018.
●        In the list of recommendations issued by TRAI, it was recommended that net neutrality be implemented only recently.
●        This recommendation of TRAI was approved by the Telecom Commission.
●        This commission of the telecom commission comprises representatives of various ministries.

Piyush Goyal awarded the beautification of station premises contestants
 
●        Union Minister of Railways and Coal, Shri Piyush Goyal today presented the prizes to the winners of the stations in the beautification competition of the stations in the Rail Bhawan.
●        In this, the first prize was given to Balharshah and Chandrapur railway stations of Central Railway, while Madhubani station of East Central Railway and Madurai station of South Railway jointly got second prize.
●        The joint winner of the third awards was Gandhidham Station of Western Railway, Kota Station of West Central Railway and Secunderabad Station of South Central Railway.

●        The company has achieved more than 6% organic revenue growth in the developing and emerging markets.
