●        Union Electronics and Information Technology and Law and Justice Minister Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad today launched several major services at a conference organized by CSC SPV.
●        In this conference, the progress and effect of the development of rural wifi network infrastructure by village level entrepreneurs (VLE) was displayed.
 
 
Final year of the first hardware version of Smart India Hackathon 2018 will be held from June 18 to 22, 2018
●        In collaboration with AICTE, Persistent Systems, I-4C and IIT Kharagpur, the Human Resource Development Ministry will hold the final of the first hardware version of Smart India Hackathon 2018 from June 18 to 22, 2018.
●        This information was given by the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar.

●        Union Railway and Coal Minister Shri Piyush Goyal launches a new mobile app 'Menu on Rails' developed by IRCTC, to create awareness amongst the passengers about the food or food items served during the rail travel.
●        This mobile app gives comprehensive information about the menus (dishes) that are served on all types of trains.

●        In line with the digital initiatives of the Honorable Prime Minister, Indian Railways has made the complaint management system completely digital for the first time.
●        Union Railway and Coal Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal has released an app called 'Rail help' to improve and speed up the grievances redressal of passengers.

Central Steel Minister dedicates the reconstructed Blast Furnace-1 to Rourkela Steel Plant
●        Union Steel Minister Chaudhary Birendra Singh today dedicated the nation to the nation's renovated blast furnace -1 'Parvati' of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP).
●        On this occasion, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram, Secretary in the Ministry of Steel, Dr. Aruna Sharma, Special Duty Officer in the Ministry of Steel, Mr. Benoy Kumar, senior officers of SAIL and a large number of employees were present.

 Central Government's decides to hire  bureaucrat without UPSC
 
●        The current central government has decided to make the biggest change so far in the bureaucracy on June 10, 2018.
●        According to the notification issued by the Central Government, it will not be necessary to pass the UPSC Civil Service Examination to become a larger officer.

 
RBI can hand over 6 more banks to PCA

 
●        Reserve Bank 6 and government banks may put in the Promotion Corrective Action (PCA) category.
●        These may include names of PNB, Union Bank of India and Syndicate Bank.
●        It may also hang the plans of the Finance Ministry's poor banks to sell good loans to strong banks.
 
 
28 companies under scanner on export discounts
 
●        The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has started investigating 28 companies, who have incorrectly provided Services Export Benefits.
●        They also include a pharmaceutical company listed on the New York Stock Exchange , which focuses on Livestock and Pets segment and also the Research and Development Center of this company in India.
●        These include an IT product company and some five star hotels.
 
 
5 states ready to join their insurance schemes in Ayushman Bharat
 
●        Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh can combine their existing health insurance schemes with an ambitious plan to provide health coverage to the prime minister's 100 million poor families.
●        Indu Bhushan, CEO of Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Mission, says that this will increase the scope of the health plans of the states.

●        Community institutions performing better than this have been recognized.

G7 conference: Resolution against to protectionism in business
●        In a joint statement issued after the two-day summit of Leaders of G-7 group countries including the United States, a resolution was proposed to combat syncretism and reduce the barriers to trade.
●        Donald Trump has decided to impose higher import duty on import of steel and aluminum from EU, Canada and other countries while the rest of the country was not in favor of it.
 

Fuel demand in the country increased by 3.8% in May
●        The demand for fuel in the country has increased by 3.8 percent in May.
●        This increase is lower than the 4.4 percent increase in April last month.
●        The steady increase in fuel prices has reduced fuel consumption for the vehicle.
 
 
500 crore loan promotion fund 
●        The government can bring a loan facilitator fund of Rs 500 crore next month.
●        Its purpose is to facilitate investment in the structured sector on behalf of insurance and pension funds .


Shree Shree's FMCG brand will spend 200 crores on marketing
●        Sri Sri Ravi Shankar 's FMCG brand Shri Sri Tatta is now trying to combat Patanjali 's Baba Ramdev 's campaign .
●        It has planned to spend about 200 crores on advertising and promotion.
●        This new brand of Ayurveda and herbal products segment plans to open 1,000 stores in the country.

Paris honored Nadal on winning 11th French Open
 
●        Spain's Rafael Nadal was awarded on behalf of the Paris city after winning his 11th French Open title on Monday .
●        Nadal won the title of French Open for the 11th time, defeating Dominic Thiem of Austria on Sunday.
