India Post Payments Bank will enable digital payments in post offices by April 2018

State Bank loses more than Rs 20,000 crores in debt
 
●     State Bank of India, the country's largest bank, has put a staggering debt of Rs 20,339 crore in the year 2016-17.
●    This is the highest amount in government banks which have been deposited in the discounted accounts.
●    Thus, in the year 2016-17, a total of Rs 81,683 crore was deposited in the accounts of the banks.


Singh brothers extricated 500 crore from Fortis
 
●    Shares of country's second largest hospital chain, Fortis Healthcare, climbed 18 percent on Friday.
●    The reason was that the founder and promoter of Fortis, Mr. Shivinder Singh and Mr. Malvinder Singh resign from the company board.
