The Prime Minister addressed the National Public Representative Conference in the Central Hall of Parliament


●        Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the National People's Representative Conference in the Central Hall of Parliament today.
●        The Prime Minister said, "There are some districts in every state where the development standard is strong. We should learn from them and work on weak districts.
●        The spirit of competitive and cooperative federalism is very good for the country.
 
In Rajasthan hanging for rape of girls below the age of 12
 
●        The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly passed a bill unanimously on March 09, 2018, under which there is a provision of capital punishment for the accused of rape with girls aged 12 or under.
●        Considering the rising criminal cases in the state, this bill has been passed.
●        Rajasthan Government believes that this bill will get harsh punishment for the culprits and reduction in crime can also be ensured.

Bhaiyaji Joshi, became the RSS Sarkaryawahak for the fourth time


●        Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi was elected unanimously for the next three years during the three-day meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Nagpur.
●        This announcement was made on Saturday and with this, Joshi is going to take over the position for the fourth time.
●        Sarkaryawahak is the second biggest post in the RSS after the RSS chief .


2 women cadets win top honors in passing out parade
 

●        For the first time, two female cadets won top honors in the history of the prestigious Institute Officers Training Academy, which gave training to Indian Army officers.
●        Among them, there is also a Sword of Honor, which gets the first number of cadets in the merit list.
●        For this, the cadets have to show great potential in physical test, weapons training, leadership quality.

Suresh Prabhu will take additional charge of Civil Aviation Ministry


●        Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu will take over charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
●        After accepting the resignation of two TDP ministers, President Ramnath Kovind had the charge of the ministry, with PM Narendra Modi.
●        Now the President has asked Suresh Prabhu to take charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation on the advice of PM.

Taliban supports TAPI pipeline project of $ 7.5 billion


●        The terrorist organization Taliban has announced the support of the proposed Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline.
●        For India, this project is strategic and economically important.
●        Due to the Taliban's opposition to Afghanistan, the project was halted for many years.
●        More than 500 miles long pipeline in Afghanistan will pass through the Taliban controlled area.

Indo-French will open ports for each other's warships in the Indian Ocean

●        The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) has said that the UK is lagging because more tourists from India visited France in the year 2016 than here.
●        More than 185,000 Indian tourists went to France compared to Britain.

14 agreements between India and France


●        France's President Emmanuel Macron and PM Modi signed 14 bilateral agreements on Saturday.
●        Addressing a joint press conference after the meeting in Hyderabad House, Modi said that both of us are not the only leaders of two democracies but we are also the successors of two prosperous and capable heritage.
●        PM Modi said that freedom, equality and brother-in-law are not the only values of France but it also includes the constitution of India.

●        The Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh launched the 'Venture Sakhi' portal to encourage women entrepreneurs on 08 March 2018.
●        At present, there are 80 lakh women who have started their work in the country and are running it before success.
●        The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) believes that Indian women can play an important role in the economic progress of the country.

India-France summit with 23 countries for solar energy


●        India is going to take major initiatives in the field of solar energy internationally.
●        Together with India, France, Rashtrapati Bhawan will host the first International Solar Coalition Summit on Sunday, in which 23 President of 23 countries and 10 Ministerial representatives from different countries will participate.
●        The conference will discuss financial mechanism, crowd funding and technology transfer to promote solar energy.

Passport details will have be given for more than 50 crore loan


●        The government is taking big steps to stop banks from escaping from the banks.
●        The government has issued an order that those who have taken loan of more than Rs. 50 crores from Indian banks, should give their passport to the State Bank within 45 days.
●        Apart from this, now the new loan holders who have taken more than 50 crores of loans will have to apply for a loan and submit their passport details.
