M. Venkaiah Naidu becomes the first Chairman of the Rajya Sabha to sign Memorandum of Understanding
●        For the first time in 76 years of coming into existence, the Rajya Sabha has signed an MoU with a foreign state assembly to promote inter-parliamentary dialogue.
●        M. Venkaiah Naidu today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Senate Visitor President Bernard Mkuza of the Republic of Rwanda so that he became the first Chairman of the Rajya Sabha to do so.
 
Ananth Kumar inaugurated 'Ceipat: Center for Skill Development and Technical Support' (CSTS) in Dehradun.

Mandwa will be developed as a health welfare center

ADB Approves Son Canal Project in Bihar

●        In this case, the Supreme Court rejected the petition challenging the order of the Agra Administration.
●        A bench of Justice AK Sikri and Justice Ashok Bhushan said that Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and people can read Namaz in other mosques.
 

Center launches Smart City Fellowship and Internship Program
 
●        The Central Government has announced the launch of India Smart City Fellowship and Internship Program for the youth in the area of urban planning and administration on 09 July 2018.
●        Its purpose is to promote 'Digital India' by encouraging Smart Cities and to simplify the lives of urban residents of India.


Infosys Foundation to give 200 crores for Bangalore Metro
 
●        Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that Infosys Foundation Marseille build Konappana agrahara (Electronic City) metro station in Bangalore will be Rs 200 crore.
●        For this, both parties will sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 19.

Voda-Idea merger gets conditional approval

China reduces tax on medicines imported from India
