Modi's 3 Gulf Countries Tour
 
●Narendra Modi will reach Ramlila capital of Ramlila on Saturday.
●Where he will meet Palestine PM Dr. Rami Hammad Ullah and President Mahmoud Abbas.
●Modi is on a tour of Gulf countries - Palestine, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman.
●They arrived in Jordan on Friday.

Indian journalist arrested in Maldives
 
●2 Journalists of Indian origin were arrested in the Maldives between political crisis and emergency.
●Moni Sharma from Punjab and Aishwarya Raoji of London News Agency is a journalist of AFP.
●They have been arrested under the National Security Purpose Act.

13 thousand employees out of 13 lakh employees missing 
 
●There are about 13,000 employees of Indian Railways who have been missing from work for a long time.
●Such employees have not officially taken leave from the railway nor have the railway been informed about the absence of the Railways.
●Now the Railways has decided to initiate action under the rules against them.
 
 
 
Health Index
 
●In the health index report prepared by the Commission, Kerala has been on top while Uttar Pradesh is the lowest among the major states.
●However, it can be satisfied that in recent times Uttar Pradesh has shown improvement.
●According to the index report released for large states, Punjab is followed by Tamil Nadu and Gujarat after Kerala.
●Apart from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Odisha are among those states whose performance has been poor in the health index.
 
 
Basic Essentials for Needy Examination
 
●Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for National Eligibility Entrance Examination (NEET).
●Through this examination, admission in medical and dental colleges across the country is given.
●According to CBSE, students interested in getting enrolled in the NEET exam can register online till March 9.
●This examination will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on 6th May.

●The Minister of State for North Eastern Development (Independent Charge), Prime Minister's Office, Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances, Pension, Atomic Energy and Minister of State for Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the exhibition of paintings made by Divya artist Shri Uttam Bhardwaj here today.
●Divya artist Shri Bharadwaj carries pictures with his feet.
●Shri Bharadwaj, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, has been painting since the age of 10 and during the last 8 years, he has made more than 200 photographs.
 
A.K. Prasad takes charge as new Finance Commissioner in Railway Board
 
●Mr. A.K. Prasad has been appointed ex-officio Secretary to the new Finance Commissioner (Railway) and the Government of India in the Railway Board.
●Shri B. Prasad's appointment Mohapatra has been replaced, who retired on January 31, 2018.
●Mr. A.K. Prasad took over as the new Finance Commissioner (Railway), which has been effective from 01 February, 2018.
●Shri Prasad is a 1981 batch officer of Indian Railway Accounting Service (IRAS).
 
 

Chilean parliamentary delegation calls on the President
 
●A parliamentary delegation led by Fidel Espinoza, Chamber of Deputies of the Republic of Chile met today (6 February 2018) President Rama Nath Konwid at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
●Welcoming the delegation, the President said that both India and Chile are vibrant democracies.
●There is constant talk between our MPs which strengthens our two-sided relations.
●The President expressed his pleasure in signing the agreement of Chilean International Solar Coalition

AYUSH Ministry has signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Ayush for promoting AYUSH services in Railway Hospitals
 
 
●Ministry of Railways and Ministry of AYUSH Singh Hospital, Eastern Railway, Perambur Railway Hospital, South Railway, Central Hospital of Northern Railway, J. of Western Railway. R. The decision to promote AYUSH facilities in the central hospital of the hospital and north-east marginal railway.
●A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Ayush in New Delhi today for this, under which the AYUSH services will be promoted in the New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Guwahati Regional Hospitals of Railways.

● The Prime Minister has emphasized on the importance of innovative experiments and technology for the progress and development of the nation.
● This fellowship plan is important in fulfilling the dream of development through the innovation of the Prime Minister.
● This scheme was announced in budget speech 2018-19.

Doctor Sapan Shah will fight for Congressional Congress
 
●Indian doctor of Indian origin Sapan Shah will contest the US Congress next year.
●Shah, founder of Flagship Healthcare in Chicago, has announced that he will contest the House of Representatives for Republican candidate from Chicago's suburban area.
●Democratic leader Brad Schneider is currently representing this seat.
●Shah, who is preparing to compete in the 2018 election, will have to register a primary win in March next year for the party ticket.
 
Modi met the King of Jordan
 
●        Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Amman, Jordan's capital on Friday evening.
●        After some time he met with King Abdullah bin Al Hussein of Jordan.
●        During this time delegation with the PM was also present.
●        Modi's foreign visit will continue till 12 February.

United Nations permanent representatives from 11 countries traveled to the Election Commission

●The delegation met Chief Election Commissioner Mr. OP Rawat and Election Commissioner Mr. Sunil Arora and Mr. Ashok Lavasa.

●Team India captain Virat Kohli 's unbeaten innings of 160 runs in the third one-dayer against South Africa was very special in many ways.
● Virat scored 12 boundaries and two sixes in this innings.

 Dhoni records new record in ODIs
