Global Mother dialect Day.
The International Mother Language day is praised on February 21st consistently since 2000. The primary thought behind this is to advance and safeguard the local dialects and society.
* It was initially proclaimed by UNESCO on 17th November, 1999 to observe February 21st as International Mother Language day.
* It was reported as a consequence of the determination was gone by Rafiqul Islam to celebrate 2 persons executed in Dhaka in dialect development on February 21st,1952.
* 2008 was praised as the International Year of Languages.
