FIFA U-17 World Cup to begin from 6 October

The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 will be held in India from October 6 to 28.
●   The mega-event, to be held across six venues in India, will take place on July 7.
●   State sports minister Aroop Biswas said 75 to 80 per cent work has been done and the stadium will be complete by January 31.
●   Tournament director iS Javier Ceppi.
●   Kochi, Mumbai, Guwahati, Delhi and Margao have already been ratified as venues following inspections by the FIFA delegation.
●   The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be the 17th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
●   Nigeria, the 2015 champions, will not be able to defend their title as they failed to reach the final round of the CAF qualifying tournament.
●   They became the first incumbent title holder since Switzerland in 2009 to fail to qualify for the subsequent tournament.

फीफा अंडर -17 विश्व कप 6 अक्टूबर 2017 से शुरू होगा

अंतरराष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल महासंघ (फीफा) ने बताया कि फीफा अंडर -17 विश्व कप अगले वर्ष 6 से 28 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा।
●   मेगा इवेंट, भारत में छह स्थानों पर 7 जुलाई को आयोजित की जाएगी।
●   राज्य के खेल मंत्री अरूप ने विश्वास जताया 75 से 80 प्रतिशत काम हो गया है और स्टेडियम 31 जनवरी तक पूरा हो जाएगा।
●   टूर्नामेंट के निदेशक जेवियर सेप्पी है।
●   कोच्चि, मुंबई, गुवाहाटी, दिल्ली और मडगांव पहले से ही फीफा प्रतिनिधिमंडल द्वारा निरीक्षण पुष्टि की गई है।
●   2017 फीफा अंडर -17 विश्व कप फीफा अंडर -17 विश्व कप के 17 वें संस्करण होगा।
●   नाइजीरिया, 2015 चैंपियन, सीएएफ क्वालीफाइंग टूर्नामेंट के अंतिम दौर तक पहुँचने में असफल रहा।
●   टूर्नामेंट के लिए क्वालीफाई करने में विफल होने वाले 2009 में स्विट्जरलैंड के बाद पहला देश बन गया।
