Festival of India to be Organized in the Netherlands from 26 January-27 March, 2017
A Festival of India is being organized in the Netherlands from 26 January – 27 March 2017.
● The Festival will showcase diverse Indian culture, i.e. classical and folk dances, music, and exhibition on handmade ethnically sourced silk clothes and accessories.
● The events will be held in the cities of The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam/Maastricht, Utrecht, Eindhoven and Groningen.
● During the Festival, the following events will be showcased:
● 13-member Kathak Dance by Aditi Mangaldas Kathak Dance Group ;
● 15-member Bhojpuri Folk Dance from North Zone Cultural Centre ;
● 4-member Classical Instrumental Music Group of Subhash Ghosh ;
● 3-member Exhibition-cum-Demonstration on Handmade ethnically sourced silk clothes and accessories by Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director, Sewa Bharat ; and
● 10-member Bhartnatyam Dance by Dr Sanddhya V. Pureccha.
नीदरलैंड में 26 जनवरी से लेकर 27 मार्च, 2017 तक भारत महोत्सव आयोजित किया जाएगा।
● इस महोत्सव के दौरान भारतीय संस्कृति में विविधता अर्थात शास्त्रीय एवं लोक नृत्य, संगीत को दर्शाया जायेगा और हस्तनिर्मित पारंपरिक रेशमी कपड़े एवं सामान पर प्रदर्शनी आयोजित की जाएगी।
● इस दौरान विभिन्न कार्यक्रम द हेग, एम्स्टर्डम, रॉटरडैम/मास्ट्रिच, यूट्रेच, इंडहोवन और ग्रोनिंगन जैसे शहरों में आयोजित किये जाएंगे।
● महोत्सव के दौरान निम्नलिखित आयोजन किये जाएंगेः
● अदिति मंगलदास कथक नृत्य समूह द्वारा 13 सदस्यीय कथक नृत्य;
● उत्तरी क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र की ओर से 15 सदस्यीय भोजपुरी लोक नृत्य;
● सुभाष घोष का 4 सदस्यीय शास्त्रीय वाद्य संगीत समूह;
● सेवा भारत के निदेशक डॉ. संजय कुमार की ओर से हस्तनिर्मित पारंपरिक रेशमी कपड़े एवं सामान पर 3 सदस्यीय प्रदर्शनी–सह-प्रदर्शन
● डॉ. संध्या वी.पुरेचा द्वारा 10 सदस्यीय भरतनाट्यम नृत्य।
