Delhi's 1st Speaker Charti Lal Goel passed away

Charti Lal Goel, the first speaker of the Delhi Assembly and father of Union Minister Vijay Goel, passed away today after prolonged illness.
•   Charti Lal, 89, breathed his last at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences earlier today.
•   He was cremated at Nigambodh Ghat.
•   Charti Lal Goel was an Indian politician.
•   He was a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Delhi.
•   He was Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly from 1993 to 1998.
•   He was associated with Bharatiya Jan Sangh and was jailed in 1975 in the emergency.
•   He died at the age of 89 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
•   He is survived by his wife, two sons, including Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel, and two daughters.

दिल्ली विधानसभा के पहले अपाकर और केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल के पिता छत्री लाल गोयल का लंबी बीमारी के बाद आज निधन हो गया।
•   छत्री लाल, 89 वर्ष के थे, उन्होंने अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान में अंतिम सांस ली ।
•   निगमबोध घाट पर उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया ।
•   छत्री लाल गोयल एक भारतीय राजनीतिज्ञ थे ।
•   वे दिल्ली से भारतीय जनता पार्टी के एक नेता थे।
•   वो 1993 से 1998 तक दिल्ली विधान सभा के अध्यक्ष रहे ।
•   वो भारतीय जनसंघ के साथ जुड़े थे और आपातकाल में 1975 में जेल में बंद थे ।
•   उनका अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान में 89 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया।
•   उनकी अपनी पत्नी, दो बेटे, केंद्रीय खेल मंत्री विजय गोयल सहित, और दो बेटियां हैं
