Cristiano Ronaldo has won the UEFA Best Player in Europe
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo (31) has won the UEFA Best Player in Europe award for the year 2015-16.
• This is second time he has won this award after he was crowned for first time in 2013–14.
• To bag this award, Ronaldo defeated Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale.
• In 2015, he had scored 35 goals for Real Madrid and 16 goals in Champions League competition.
• He scored 3 goals for Portugal national team at Euro 2016.
• Ada Hegerberg: She was crowned with UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe Award for the year 2015-16.
• Lionel Messi: He was crowed UEFA Goal of the Season award for the 2015-16.
• He had won the award for his strike against Roma. His famous goal had received 73331 votes.
• The award is an association football award given to the footballer playing for a football club in Europe that is
considered the best in the previous season.
क्रिश्चियानो रोनाल्डो 25 अगस्त 2016 को 2015-16 सत्र के लिए यूईएफए बेस्ट प्लेयर इन यूरोप अवार्ड के विजेता घोषित किए गए. इसके साथ ही रोनाल्डो पिछले तीन वर्षों में दूसरी बार इस पुरस्कार के विजेता बने.
• रोनाल्डो ने इस पुरस्कार के लिए एंटनी ग्रीज़मैन एवं गारेथ बेल को पछाड़ते हुए यह पुरस्कार जीता.
• रोनाल्डो ने 2015 में रियल मेड्रिड में खेलते हुए 35 गोल किये जबकि चैंपियंस लीग में उन्होंने 16 गोल किये. उन्होंने पुर्तगाल के लिए यूरो कप में 3 गोल किये.
• रोनाल्डो इससे पहले 2014 में यह अवार्ड जीत चुके हैं जिसके बाद 2015 का अवार्ड उनके प्रतिद्वंदी क्लब बार्सिलोना के स्ट्राइकर लियोनेल मेसी ने जीता था. इसके अतिरिक्त मेसी ने यूईएफए गोल ऑफ़ द सीजन अवार्ड प्राप्त किया.
• प्रसिद्ध गोल के लिए कुल 73331 वोट डाले गये जिसमे 34 प्रतिशत शेयर मेसी को मिला.
• द यूनियन ऑफ़ यूरोपियन एसोसिएशन्स (यूईएफए) यूरोप में फुटबॉल खेलों की प्रशासनिक संस्था है.
• यह विश्व में फीफा की छह गवर्निंग बॉडी में से एक है.
• इसमें 55 सदस्य हैं.
• यह यूरोप में फुटबॉल मैच आयोजित कराती है, जिनमे यूरोपियन चैंपियनशिप, चैंपियंस लीग, युरोपा लीग तथा सुपर कप शामिल हैं.
