Crime against Humanity museum opens in Bosnia
A museum of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide has opened in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo, exploring the country's wartime history.
• The exhibit includes a reconstruction of a prison cell, personal belongings of victims who lost their lives, and screenings of films about the witnesses of crimes.
• The exhibition is aimed at providing information about the Bosnian war during 1992-1995.
• It also screens films about the war, including ‘City under Siege’ and ‘The End of Impunity - Sexual Violence before the Tribunal’ and ‘Through Their Eyes’, about victims and witnesses of crimes who overcame their fears to testify in court.
• Journalist and film-maker Avdo Huseinovic played a major role in gathering material for the museum, which he described as modest but important.
मानवता और नरसंहार के खिलाफ अपराध का एक संग्रहालय बोस्निया और हर्जेगोविना की राजधानी साराजेवो में खोला गया है, जिसमे देश के युद्ध के समय के इतिहास की खोज भी शामिल है ।
• प्रदर्शनी में एक जेल सेल ,पीड़ित लोग , जिन्होंने अपना जीवन खोया उनके निजी सामान के पुनर्निर्माण शामिल है, और अपराधों के साक्षियों के बारे में फिल्मों की स्क्रीनिंग होती है ।
• प्रदर्शनी 1992-1995 के दौरान बोस्नियाई युद्ध के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से है ।
• 'उनकी आँखों के माध्यम' और , पीड़ितों और अपराधियों के बारे में भी जानकारी हासिल किया जा सकता है जिन्होंने किसी के खिलाफ या किसी के दबाव में आकर किसी के खिलाफ बयान दिया हो या सजा दिलाने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई हो. इसमें युद्ध के बारे में फिल्मों, को भी प्रदर्शित किया गया है जिसमे 'घेराबंदी के तहत शहर' और 'न्यायाधिकरण से पहले यौन हिंसा दण्ड से मुक्ति का अंत' सहित कई और भी फिल्में शामिल हैं ।
• पत्रकार और फिल्म निर्माता अवदो हुसेंओविक ने इस संग्रहालय को बनाने में बहुत मेहनत की है उन्होंने इसमें मौजूद चीजों की बारीक़ से बारीक़ जानकारी हासिल करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है ।
