Central government employees to get Rs.9000 minimum pension
The minimum pension has been increased to Rs9,000 per person besides a two-fold hike in ex-gratia amount for central government employees, union minister Jitendra Singh said on Thursday.
● Addressing the 29th meeting of the Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (Scova) in the city, he said almost 88% of pension accounts have been seeded to Aadhaar.
● There are about 50-55 lakh pensioners in the country, said Singh, minister of state in Prime Minister’s office.
● He further said that minimum pension has been increased to Rs9,000 per person and ex-gratia amount has been increased from Rs10-15 lakh to Rs25-35 lakh, as per a release issued by personnel ministry.
● He said the retired employees are a healthy and productive workforce for India and we need to streamline and channelise their energies in a productive direction.
● DoP&PW should be reoriented in such a way that pensioners become a part of nation building process.
केन्द्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के लिए न्यूनतम पेंशन बढ़ाकर 9000 रुपये प्रति व्यक्ति कर दी है. इसके अतिरिक्त केंद्रीय कर्मियों की क्षतिपूर्ति राशि में भी दो गुना बढ़ोतरी की गई है.
● प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में राज्यमंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि देश में करीब 50.55 लाख पेंशनभोगी हैं.
● कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन ने अपने 50 लाख पेंशनभोगियों एवं करीब चार करोड़ अंशधारकों के लिये जनवरी के अंत तक आधार संख्या उपलब्ध कराने को अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है.
● सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों के ज्ञान, अनुभव एवं प्रयासों का अच्छा उपयोग करने के लिए संस्थागत तंत्र बनाने की जरूरत है जो वर्तमान परिस्थितियों में मूल्यों को बढ़ाने में मदद कर सकता है.
● न्यूनतम पेंशन बढ़ाकर नौ हजार रुपये प्रति व्यक्ति कर दी गई है तथा क्षतिपूर्ति राशि 10.15 लाख रुपए से बढ़ाकर 25.35 लाख रुपए कर दी गई है. समिति की बैठक पेंशन और पेंशनभोगी कल्याण विभाग द्वारा आयोजित की गई.
● पेंशन के विषय में देरी पर रोक लगाने एवं अधिक पारदर्शिता लाने हेतु केंद्र सरकार ने अपने सभी विभागों को पेंशन विषयक मामलों का अनिवार्य तौर पर ऑनलाइन प्रणाली से निपटान करने का निर्देश दिया था.
● कार्मिक, जनशिकायत एवं पेंशन मंत्रालय ने केंद्र सरकार के सभी विभागों के सचिवों को निर्देश जारी किया है कि पेंशन के मामलों का निपटान इलेक्ट्रोनिक तरीके से किया जाए.
