CBDT launches e-nivaran to resolve I-T grievances
Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on 8 September 2016 launched e-nivaran (electronic resolution) facility for online redressal of taxpayers’ grievances.
The grievances can be related to refunds, Income Tax Returns (ITRs), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Permanent Account Number (PAN) among others.
• It will help taxpayers in registering their complaints through their computer and receive a special PIN number on their registered mobile number and email, which will help to keep track on the issues.
• It will also allow the complainant to track the progress of the complaint.
• People can lodge their complains and upload the documents related to the same in form od a PDF file and clubbed as a ZIP file.
• People who don’t have a PAN can also access the e-nivaran facility and lodge their complaints in connection with their I-T case.
• The ‘e-nivaran’ form will be available in a physical form at the Aaykar Sampark Kendras (ASK) (tax facilitation centre), located in over 300 cities.
• Later, the form will be fed into the system by tax officials.
सीबीडीटी (केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड) ने 8 सितम्बर 2016 को करदाताओं के रिफंड, आईटीआर और पैन इत्यादि से जुड़ी अन्य शिकायतों को हल करने के लिए ऑनलाइन सुविधा 'ई-निवारण' सुविधा की शुभारंभ की.
• हाल ही में विभाग के ई-फाइलिंग पोर्टल पर 'ई-निवारण' लिंक दिया गया. वही करदाता अपने व्यक्तिगत कंप्यूटर प्रणाली के जरिये शिकायतें पंजीकृत करा सकते हैं.
• इस प्रणाली में ‘ई-निवारण’ पर करदाता रिफंड में देरी, स्रोत पर कर कटौती (टीडीएस), ई-रिटर्न की फाइलिंग, पैन और कर आकलन अधिकारी से जुड़ी शिकायतें दर्ज करा सकते हैं.
• केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड, वित्त मंत्रालय के राजस्व विभाग का एक अंग है.
• करदाताओं द्वारा शिकायत करने के बाद उनके पंजीकृत मोबाइल एवं ई-मेल पर एक विशेष पिन नंबर आएगा. वे इस विशेष संख्या के जरिये वे मामले पर नजर रख सकेंगे.
• जिन लोगों के पास स्थायी खाता संख्या (पैन) नहीं है, लेकिन उन्हें आयकर से संबंधित मामले में कोई समस्या है तो वे भी ई-निवारण सुविधा का उपयोग कर सकते हैं.
• अब दस्तावेज को पीडीएफ फार्मेट में अपलोड किया जा सकता है और इसे जिप फाइल में जोड़ा जा सकता है.
• शिकायत दर्ज होने के बाद संबंधित करदाता को एक संख्या जारी किया जाएगा जिसे वे भविष्य में कर अधिकारी के साथ संवाद में उपयोग कर सकते हैं. साथ ही इसके जरिये वे शिकायत की प्रगति पर नजर रख सकते हैं.
