Bhaskar Khulbe appointed Secretary to PM

Senior IAS officer Bhaskar Khulbe has been appointed as Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
•   He was Additional Secretary in Prime Minister's Office.
•   The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved appointment of Khulbe as Secretary to Prime Minister with effect from Friday, an order issued today by Department of Personnel and Training, said.
•   Khulbe is a 1983 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre.
•   He looks after work related to Cabinet Secretariat and thrust areas of the government, among others.
•   The Prime Minister of India, is the Head of Government, chief adviser to the President of India, head of the Council of Ministers and the leader of the majority party in the Lok Sabha.
•   The Prime Minister leads the executive branch of the Government of India.
•   The incumbent Prime Minister of India is Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

भास्कर खुलबे प्रधानमंत्री के सचिव नियुक्त

वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी भास्कर खुलबे को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का सचिव नियुक्त किया गया है। वह प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में अतिरिक्त सचिव थे।
•   कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा आज जारी आदेश में कहा गया कि मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने प्रधानमंत्री के सचिव के तौर पर खुलबे की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी प्रदान की है।
•   यह नियुक्ति शुक्रवार से प्रभावी है।
•   खुलबे 1983 बैच के पश्चिम बंगाल कैडर के आईएएस अधिकारी हैं।
•   वह कैबिनेट सचिवालय से जुड़े कामकाज और सरकार के विशेष क्षेत्रों को देखते हैं।
•   भारत का प्रधानमंत्री भारत सरकार का मुखिया, भारत के राष्ट्रपति का मुख्य सलाहकार, मंत्रिपरिषद का मुखिया, तथा लोकसभा में बहुमत वाले दल का नेता होता है।
•   वह भारत सरकार के कार्यपालिका का नेतृत्व करता है।वह किसी भी धर्म या जाति का हो सकता है
•   नरेन्द्र मोदी भारत के वर्तमान प्रधानमंत्री हैं।
