Anganwadi Karyakartri Bima Yojana.

The premium amount of Rs.80 per annum payable by Anganwadi Workers & Helpers to L.I.C under the Anganwadi Karyakartri Bima Yojana (A.K.B.Y) has been waived off for a further period of two years i.e. from 01.04.2015 to 31.03.2017.The Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers are getting insurance coverage under Anganwadi Karyakartri Bima Yojana (A.K.B.Y). The Scheme operates with premium contributions of Government of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India and the beneficiaries.
