Air India ranked third worst in punctuality
Domestic carriers Jet Airways and IndiGo ranked seventh and tenth, respectively, in on-time performance in Asia Pacific, according to a global airlines OTP survey report in which Air India remained third-worst in terms of punctuality.
● Jet Airways (76.1 per cent) and IndiGo (74.2 per cent) have been recognised among major Asia Pacific carriers including Japan Airlines, Virgin Australia, Qantas, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Jetstar.
● Japan Airlines with 87.33 per cent OTP was ranked number one in this category followed by Virgin Australia with 86.22 per cent at the 8th Annual Airline OTP Service Awards by flight tracking and mentoring services provider Flightstats.

● On the other hand, government-run Air India was third in terms of worst OTP performer after Israeli carrier El Al and Iceland based Icelandair.
एविएशन कंपनी फ्लाइटस्टेट्स द्वारा कराये गये एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय सर्वेक्षण में एयर इंडिया विश्व की तीसरी सबसे ख़राब विमान सेवा पाई गयी. यह सर्वेक्षण वर्ष 2016 के आंकड़ों के आधार पर किया गया था. कम्पनी द्वारा यह आंकड़े 8 जनवरी 2017 को जारी किये गये.
● फ्लाइटस्टेट्स ने विमान में होने वाली देरी तथा यात्रियों को होने वाली असुविधाओं के आधार पर यह निर्णय लिया. ख़राब विमान सेवाओं की सूची में पहले स्थान पर एल-अल एयरलाइन्स है जबकि दूसरे स्थान पर आइसलैंड एयरलाइन्स है.
● सबसे अधिक ख़राब विमान सेवाएं में इल-अल (56 प्रतिशत), आइसलैंड एयर (41.05 प्रतिशत), एयर इंडिया (38.71 प्रतिशत), फिलीपाइन एयरलाइंस (38.33 प्रतिशत), एशियाना एयरलाइंस (37.46 प्रतिशत), चाइना ईस्टर्न एयरलाइंस (35.8 प्रतिशत) .
