3 Agreements signed between India and Singapore
India and Singapore on 4 October 2016 signed three Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) agreements during the visit of Singapore Premier Lee Hsien Loong to India.
● MoU on collaboration in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. - Between National Skill Development Corporation and ITEES Singapore.
● MoU on collaboration in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. - Between Government of Assam and ITEES Singapore.
● MoU in the field of Industrial Property Cooperation. - Between DIPP and Intellectual Property Office Singapore.
● The close ties between India and Singapore have a history rooted in strong commercial, cultural and people-to-people links.
● Singapore is not only an important trading partner in ASEAN but also a major source of FDI inflows in India.
सिंगापुर के प्रधानमंत्री हाल ही में भारत के पांच दिवसीय दौरे पर नई दिल्ली पहुंचे.
● प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और सिंगापुर के प्रधानमंत्री ली सिएन लूंग के बीच प्रतिनिधि मंडलस्तर की वार्ता के बाद तीन समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किये गए.
● दोनों देशों के नेता कौशल विकास और औद्योगिक संपदा से संबंधित समझौतों पर बात किया गया.
● तकनीकी एवं व्यावसायिक शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण के क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए सिंगापुर के तकनीकी शिक्षण संस्थान शिक्षा सेवा (आईटीईईएस) तथा भारत के कौशल विकास निगम के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए.
● तकनीकी और व्यावसायिक शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण के क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए एक दूसरा समझौता असम सरकार और आईटीईईएस सिंगापुर के बीच हुआ.
● तीसरा समझौता औद्योगिक संपदा सहयोग के क्षेत्र में हुआ.
