2nd Summit of Forum for India-Pacific Island Countries (FIPIC) at Jaipur.
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will receive the Heads of State/Government participating in 2nd Summit of Forum for India-Pacific Island Countries (FIPIC) at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The second FIPIC Summit will be held on August 21 2015 in Jaipur. The first FIPIC summit was held in Suva, Fiji in November 2014 during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit. FIPIC has as its members India and 14 Pacific Island countries, namely Fiji, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
About FIPIC
Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation(FIPIC) is a multinational grouping developed in 2014 for cooperation between India and 14 Pacific Islands nations which include Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. All Head of state/head of government of the above countries met in Suva, Fiji in November 2014 for the first time where the annual summit was conceptualised.



Dr. Najma Heptulla,the Union Minister for Minority Affairs Launched Online Application Management System (OAMS) for “Nai Roshni” here today. Speaking on the occasion she said the system brings the scheme in to public domain and will facilitate transparency and quick delivery.
