Ericsson has appointed Paolo Colella as New Head in India.

Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson has appointed Paolo Colella as the new head of its India operations, replacing Chris Houghton, who will assume the role of North East Asia region head. Colella, who will also become a member of Ericsson's global leadership team, will take charge from 1st September. At present, Colella is responsible for Ericsson's consulting and systems integration business globally.

Bangladesh Cricketer ranked the best All-Rounder in O.D.I's

Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hassan has been ranked the best all-rounder in One-Day Internationals (O.D.I) once again. In the latest ICC rankings, Shakib has topped the list of all-rounders in all three formats of cricket -Test, O.D.I's and Twenty20 Internationals. In the rankings released after the Bangladesh-India series, (won by Bangladesh) Shakib now has 408 points followed by SriLanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan 404, Angelo Mathew with 308 points acquired third place in the list.

Viswanathan Anand finish second in Norway Chess tournament.

Former world champion Viswanathan Anand played out a quick draw with Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria to finish second in Norway chess tournament. The game ended in a draw vide repetition in just 18 moves. With 6.5 points, Topalov became Grand Chess tour's first season's winner. While Anand came at second position with 6 points. 'Secure+' debit card from Axis bank.

Private sector lender Axis Bank has launched an E.M.V-chip-based debit card called ‘Secure+’ that offers multiple security features, including fraud protection and wallet protection. The Secure+ debit card has a feature called ‘Total Control’ through which customers can switch off/on their cards through various channels like mobile application, internet banking, S.M.S or phone banking. Customer can switch off the debit card for a fixed time period when it is not in use.
