PAPER-I : Paper I consists of objective type questions. It comprises of 200 questions and is conducted for 2 hours. 

PAPER-II: Paper II is English Test 

Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting mis-spelt words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, cloze passage & comprehension passage.

In its latest announcement, SSC has released the SSC CGL Exam date, Time and Venue for all appearing candidates. 30,26,599 candidates registered this year for SSC CGL. A total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared for SSC CGL Tier I exam conducted in 43 Batches across the Country from 5^th August 2017 to 23^rd August 2017. The SSC CGL Tier II exam was finally held between 17th to 22nd February 2018, after multiple postponement of the exam. Therefore, now the ticket collectors are drawing a salary of Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 1900 + allowance up to around Rs 27000 / -. After the implementation of the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, the basic salary of the ticket collector would be 15000. By combining all the allowances, TCs can get a salary up to Rs 36000.

Selection Process:

The recruitment of all the eligible candidates will be based on below mentioned parameters;

• Written Test
• In-Service Weightage
• Pole Climbing Test

Written Test:

• Written examination will be conducted for a total of 80 marks having 2 sections.
• Section A will consist of 65 Questions based on Core ITI syllabus.
• Section B will consist of 15 General Awareness and Numerical Ability Questions.
• The examination will last for a duration of 2 Hours and is to be conducted at GHMC area of Hyderabad and GWMC area of Warangal.
• Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark.
• The minimum Qualifying marks in the test for various categories are shown in the table below;

  Category	Qualifying Marks
  UR	40%
  OBC	35%
  SC/ST	30%

In Service Weightage:

• If any applicant has worked as contract/outsourced worker in TS Power utilities for a minimum of six continuous months, A weightage of 20 marks will be given for the same.
• Each half year will fetch you 1 mark.
• In the final written Examination score, Service Weightage will be added.

Pole Climbing Test & Document Verification:

• All the candidates, who will Qualify the written Examination will be called for a pole Climbing Test.
• You also need to carry All the required documents at the time of pole climbing test.
• Qualifying the pole Climbing test will assure your selection for the upcoming TSNPDCL recruitment 2018
