RRB JE Selection Process

First of all, the last date to fill the online application for RRB JE examination is 31st January 2019. As far as there are only 13,847 vacant seats available, the competition seems difficult. RRB JE Selection Process for the posts Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.

RRB JE Selection Process consists of total three (3) stages.

Computer-Based Tests 1

• There will be a penalty for 1/3 for every wrong answer. So, the marks will be cut from the secured ones
• The exam paper is Objective Type
• Minimum passing marks are

General – 40%

SC – 30%

OBC – 30%

ST – 25%

Medical/Documentation Verification

Medical or Documentation Verification is, hence, the final stage of the RRB JE Selection Process. Candidates, firstly, have to get great scores in CBT 1 to reach this stage. More importantly, they have to pass the second stage of CBT. They have to be certainly FIT to get any post in Railways if they clear the second level of examination (CBT 2). Consequently, RRB will probably give them a confirmation call to those applicants who clear all three stages.

SSC Stenographer Selection Process – Complete Selection process of Written Test, Skill Test and Document Verification

SSC Stenographer Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission conducts a Computer Based Examination for Recruitment of Stenographer Grade “C”(Group B Non-gazetted) and Stenographer Grade “D”, Group “C” Non-Gazetted Posts. Selection Process for SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D comprises of Written test or Computer Based Test, Skill Test, and Document verification.
The SSC Stenographer written exam is a computer-based exam. The paper includes three subjects having multiple choice questions – Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language & comprehension.

Examination Paper Pattern of written Exam:

Scheme of Examination of Written Test/CBT:

The details of computer-based examination are mentioned below –

• The question paper will be of Objective Multiple choice types.
• Questions will be set in Hindi and English except Part-III.
• Part III of the exam will be held only in English.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Skill Test:

The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test or skill test involving a test of typing. They will be judged on the basis of speed and accuracy of typing.

Skill test in Stenography:

Candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the written exam will be called for a Skill Test. The skill test will involve a typing test that is qualifying in nature. Skill test will be based on Stenography.

The candidates who appear for the stenography skill test and will be given dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi(as per choice) at a speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade “C” and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade “D”. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer. Candidates will have to know stenography in both Hindi and English, being a fundamental requirement of the job as a stenographer.

Skill Test: Important Details

Document Verification:

Document Verification Process would comprise of verification of identity documents like AADHAR Card, PAN card, Voter ID, Drivers license, etc. Shortlisted candidates must also produce original and photocopy of mark sheets of Class 10, 12, Degree, Post-graduation or equivalent certificates. Candidates may also produce work experience certificates if any.
