CMAT 2017: Registration, Exam Dates, Pattern and Syllabus

CMAT 2017 - Online Registration Starts

CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test, which is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on an yearly basis as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Large number of candidates apply for this exam. The test is held for the candidates who are interested in management courses offered by the reputed management colleges across India.

The notice of CMAT 2017 has been released officially. The details are mentioned below:

CMAT 2017 - Registration :

  • The CMAT 2017 Registration starts from10th October 2016.

  • Registration is through the online mode only.

  • Candidates can register for CMAT till 10th December 2016.

  • The candidates are requested to read the instructions carefully before applying online.

CMAT 2017 - Application Fee:

  • The fee for the (General/ OBC) candidate is Rs. 1400/- and for the (PD/SC/ST) candidate is Rs. 700/- only.

  • The candidates can pay the fee through the online payment mode by using debit card/ credit card /net banking. The candidate can also pay the fee through Cash Payment in SBI Bank.

CMAT 2017 - Eligibility Criteria :

  • The candidate must be the citizen of India.

  • The candidates who have completed their graduation in any of the streams like science, commerce and arts can apply for the exam.

  • The candidates who are in the final year of the graduation can also apply for the exam.

CMAT 2017 Exam Pattern :

  • The question paper will be objective type.

  • The maximum duration of the test will be three hours.

  • Question paper will be consisted of 100 questions.

  • The paper is divided into 4 sections.

  • Each section will consist of 25 questions.

  • Marking Scheme:Each correct answer will carry four marks.

  • Negative Marking - For every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted.

CAT 2016 ENTRANCE REGISTRATION BEGINS TODAY

The process for the CAT entrance exams registration 2016 has started from today (August 8, 2016).   The exam will contain four different segments, where every candidate needs to qualify separately in every segment. The CAT scores gained will be valid for all the IIMs, IITs, NITs, Faculty of Management Study and Indian Institutes of Science entrances short listings.

The CAT 2016 Registration process has initiated from today (8th August 2016) through the online mode available only on the official website of the CAT 2016. The process will continue till the 22nd September 2016. Visiting the link on the official CAT 2016, as a requisite of the registration process, the candidates need to fill the complete details in the form. Then after select the three test cities from the drop down menu to be allotted as the preferred test centre.

This exam stands an important place for all management aspirants and thus missing even a single little information can be difficult. Here is an outline of the important events of the exams to avoid any such difficult situations for the candidates.

  • Check the answers of the previous questions before proceeding.

  • Don’t stick to questions which are lengthy or questions with which you are not comfortable.

  • Make intelligent guesses and use elimination method in order to deploy selection.
