DU JAT is a national-level entrance exam offering admission to various UG courses of Delhi University, such as Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS). The final selection is based on a merit list prepared by a cumulative score of the entrance test and class 12th exams.   • Candidates who have taken the DU JAT exam are eligible to participate in the DU JAT selection process. 
  • Furthermore, applicants who choose a program/college during online registration will have their information processed centrally for all counselling rounds/allotment procedures.
  • The DU JAT 2021 selection procedure is divided into two sections, according to the University of Delhi: qualifying the exam and DU JAT results.

  • St. Xaviers' College, Mumbai conducts the St. Xaviers Exam every year offers admission to Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) programs. 
  • The final selection is based on a merit list prepared by a cumulative score of the entrance test and class 12th exams. Weightage is assigned to entrance test scores at 60% and marks obtained in class 12th board exams at 40%.
  • As a Catholic Minority College, St. Xavier's College is an autonomous college under the University of Mumbai, with 50% of seats designated for Catholic Minority students. 
  • Students are admitted to St. Xavier College's BMS/BBA and BMM programmes through an Entrance Exam and an Interview.

St Xavier BBA/BMS Eligibility

Before filling up the application form, candidates must make sure they meet the St. Xavier's BMS eligibility requirements. The following are the BMS eligibility requirements at St. Xavier:

  • Students must have cleared the class 12th examination from Maharashtra State Board. Candidates qualifying examination other than Maharashtra State Board must issue the provisional eligibility certificate from the University of Mumbai.
  • The Baptism Certificate is required for Christian minority candidates.
  • Those who have their qualifying exams after the BMS/BBA Entrance Tests, are not eligible to apply for either of these two Entrance Tests. 
  • Aspirants in the reserved category must have the required documents as mentioned on the admission brochure.
  • If a student has had three unsuccessful tries at the same examination, has been debarred twice within the first four semesters, or has major indiscipline charges against him or her in that year, he or she will not be readmitted to the College.
  • Candidate must have any of the following documents for the proof of date of birth, School Leaving Certificate, Board, Pre-University Certificate or Birth Certificate issued by a Competent Authority
  • Aspirants must obtain the minimum aggregate marks in the 12th examinations or equivalent as mentioned below:

St Xavier BBA/BMS Selection Procedure

To select students for the BMS programme, the St. Xavier's Entrance Exam is administered in two stages: a written test and an interview procedure. If a candidate on the first Merit list does not complete the admission process by the deadlines specified in the notifications, their candidature will be considered lapsed. Admission will be provided to the candidates on the Second and Subsequent merit lists.

  • Stage 1 will be a written test of 100 marks (Objective Test on the OMR Sheet).
  • A Call List for the Interview Round will be made by giving a 60% weightage to the test and 40% weightage to the qualifying XII examination.
  • Stage 2 will be an interview cum written test (100 marks).
  • A Final Merit List will be made by giving a 70% weightage to the score obtained in Stage 2 and a 30% weightage to the score obtained in Stage 1.

St Xavier BBA/BMS Syllabus

There isn’t any specific syllabus prescribed by St. Xaviers Mumbai. Based on previous year exam pattern and trend candidates are advised to follow mathematics upto class 10th for mathematics section. NPAT Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible for the exam, only if you satisfy the NPAT Eligibility Criteria set by the exam conducting body. The eligibility criteria to apply for NMIMS through NPAT is given below:

  • As per the NPAT notification, your age must not exceed 25 years in order to fill the online form.
  • You should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with English as a compulsory subject and secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • If you are appearing in the 12th standard examination 2021, you can apply for the NPAT .

  • Computer based (CBT) online exam with a duration of two hours.
