    SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) is a university level entrance test for UG courses offered by Symbiosis International University (SIU) affiliated institutes. SET is conducted for BBA IT, BCA, BA Mass Comm, BSc Economics Honours, BSc Liberal Arts, BA Liberal Arts and BSc Culinary Arts.

    SET 2019 score will be valid for admission to SIU’s seven institutes located in Pune. From 2019 onwards, Symbiosis SET Law Test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), Symbiosis SET Design Test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Symbiosis SET Engineering Test as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE).

    • SET 2019 published the Official Notification for 2019 on January 24, 2019.
    • SET Application Form is available from January 24, 2019. The last date to apply for SET is April 15, 2019.
    • Aspirants must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with minimum required marks from any recognized board to be eligible for SET 2019.
    • The type of questions asked will be objective type questions.
    • The number of sections in each question paper and the subjects tested vary depending on the type of paper. The total number of questions and total marks is also different. 
    • To qualify in the general SET exam, the questions will be sectioned as General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
    • To qualify in SLAT the questions will be sectioned as Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge.
    • To qualify in SITEEE, the questions will be sectioned as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
    • To qualify in SEED, the questions will be on Design Aptitude.
    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for further rounds of GD and PI, for selection.

    SET Eligibility Criteria 2019

    SET Eligibility Criteria is the deciding factor for any candidate to apply for Symbiosis Entrance test. This Criteria may vary for different programs.

    The eligibility criterion for admission into SIU through SET 2019 is given below:

    • Aspiring candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam in relevant stream from a recognized board or university with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
    • Students appearing in the 12th standard examination are also eligible.
    • Diplomas in engineering passing candidates can also apply.
    • The age of any applicant should not exceed 25 years.

    SET 2019 Seat Reservation

    The reservation rules to be followed are given below:

    SET Application Form 2019

    SET Online Application Link is now active and will remain active until April 15, 2019. Candidates have to apply online for the exam.

    How to apply for SET 2019?

    • Visit the official website for SET https://www.set-test.org/ and then click on Register now.
    • Select the New Registration option.
    • For New Registration Enter your details and upload your photo.
    • Make payment online through credit, debit or net banking option.
    • After getting the confirmation, save the page and get necessary print outs.

     Application fee for SET 2019

    Candidates can pay the application fee for SET 2019 in online mode only. The payment methods accepted are Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Symbiosis SET 2019 Application Fee is INR 1750 (one program) and the category of the candidate has no effect on the fee amount.

     
    SET Admit Card 2019

    • SET Admit Card 2019 will be available on the official website from April 20.
    • The exams will be conducted in two sessions, morning and evening sessions.
    • Candidates appearing in both the sessions have to carry the tickets for morning and evening sessions separately.

    • Go to the official website.
    • Click on, “Symbiosis SET 2019 Admit Card Release”.
    • Enter your ID and DOB or Password.
    • Your Admit Card will be displayed here.
    • Save it and take necessary print outs.

    SET Cut off

    The cut off for different courses in different Symbiosis Institute is different. The cutoffs will be released post the declaration of SET 2019 result on the official website. The list of shortlisted candidates will also be released for further selection process.

    The admission of the candidates will occur according to the cut-offs. The further selection process includes WAT/PI rounds by the institutes.

    SET 2019 Counselling

    Merit lists are prepared after the results are announced. SET 2019 Counselling and seat allocation of all the qualified candidates is scheduled in the month of June 2019.

    Further rounds of GD and PI will be conducted. Given below is the admission pricedure for SET exam 2019:

    • Students are selected for the counselling according to their marks obtained in the entrance test.
    • Candidates have to register separately for the counselling at the respective institution.
    • Candidates note down without producing original documents students are not be allowed to participate in the further counselling rounds.
    • During the counselling process, candidates are needed to fill their preferences and pay the requested fee.
    • On the basis of choices filled by candidates, rank, category, and availability of seats, seats will be allotted to candidates.
    • After seat allotment, students have to complete other admission procedures.
