NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is the authorized entrance exam held for admissions in Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies or the NMIMS University.

The admissions are offered into management and engineering courses by constituent schools of NMIMS at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Indore, and Navi Mumbai Campuses. Narsee Monjee University conducts the exam once every year. The Test will take place in multiple centers across 49 cities.

  • The last date to apply for the NPAT Application Form is April 30, 2020.
  • Candidates can attempt twice on both the exam dates. The best of the two scores will be considered.
  • Aspirants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or university to be eligible for NPAT 2020. Those who are still in 10+2 can also apply for the NMIMS NPAT exam.
  • The type of questions asked will be multiple-choice questions.
  • To qualify in the non-engineering programs the questions will be sectioned as Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in the English Language.
  • To qualify in the B. design programs the questions will be sectioned as Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills, Observation & Problem Solving and General Awareness & Design Sensibility.
  • To qualify in the engineering programs the questions will be sectioned as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logical intelligence and Language proficiency
  • Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit.

NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

NPAT Eligibility Criteria is the deciding factor for any candidate’s selection in the college for the course of their choice. NPAT Eligibility includes age limit and required educational qualification.

The eligibility criterion for admission into NMIMS through NPAT 2020 is given below:

  • Aspiring candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with English as a compulsory subject and secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Students appearing in the 12th standard examination are also eligible.
  • Diplomas in engineering passing candidates can also apply.
  • The age of any applicant should not exceed 25 years.

NPAT Eligibility for B.Tech and MBA (Tech)

Students should have passed Class 12th or equivalent exams with the Indian Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with English as a compulsory subject.

  • The candidates with IB Diploma are eligible only if they have offered Mathematics at a higher level.
  • Applicants should have a score of a minimum of 50% in PCM in class 12th or the equivalent of that for admittance in the Mumbai campus.
  • Applicants should have scored a minimum of 45% in PCM in class 12th or equivalent of that for admittance in the Shirpur campus.
  • Applicants who have passed Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% can also apply for NPAT 2020.
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from Open or Distance Learning (ODL) School documented only by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can also apply for the program.
  • Candidates appearing for class 12th examination in 2020 can also apply for NPAT 2020.

NPAT Eligibility for MBA Pharma Tech (B. Pharm + MBA)

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam plus IB Diploma in PCM or PCB with English as a required subject. A score of at least 50% marks in PCM/PCB is required for the candidates to be eligible for applying in NPAT 2020.

NPAT Eligibility for B.Sc. Economics

The candidates must have passed a higher secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% marks in the first attempt including IB Diploma in any stream. The candidates are required to have Mathematics as a subject in Class 12th examination.

NPAT Eligibility for B.Sc. Finance/B.Com (Hons.)/B.B.A

The candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first attempt including IB Diploma. Candidates must have passed Mathematics/Statistics subject in HSC or equivalent to be eligible to apply for NPAT 2019.

NPAT Application Form 2020

NPAT Online Application Link is now active and will remain active until April 20, 2020. Candidates have to apply online for the exam.

How to apply for NPAT 2020?

  • Visit the official website for NPAT and then c
  • Click on 'apply now' and create your account
  • Go to your mailbox and verify the account by clicking on the given link
  • When successfully registered, you can proceed to further stages.
  • Log in with your username and password and complete your application form.
  • Click on the Edit button on the top right-hand side corner of the screen and fill all the asked details
  • Click on ‘Save and Submit’ to save your application form and move to the subsequent step.
  • The last step is to pay the application fee through online mode only.
  • After the payment is updated, submit the completed form.

NPAT Admit Card 2020

NPAT Admit Card 2020 will be declared one week before the commencement of the Online Exam for NPAT 2020. It will be available for download on the official website of NPAT. The examination will be conducted online in venues across centers in India.

NPAT Exam Pattern

As per NPAT Exam Pattern 2020, the selection exam is conducted in online mode. NPAT exam is scheduled for the month of May 2020. Given below is the detailed exam pattern for NPAT 2020:

NPAT Exam Pattern for Non- Engineering Programs

Paper I Pattern

For admission into NMIMS institutes the exam is conducted only in online mode.

  • The no. of questions in paper I are 120.
  • The exam pattern is divided into three sections: Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in the English Language.
  • There are 40 questions in each section.
  • Duration for the exam is 120 minutes.

Paper II Pattern

There is a Paper II for students taking admission into B.Design.

  • Paper II has three sections: Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills, Observation & Problem Solving and General Awareness & Design Sensibility.
  • The total no. of questions is 60.
  • Duration for the exam is 90 Minutes.

NPAT Result 2020

NPAT Result 2020 will be declared in June 2020. Candidates can check their results on the official website as soon as the result is officially announced.

  • Three merit lists will be announced on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates.
  • Candidates who appear in the merit list prepared by the university will be called for counselling.

NPAT Cut off 2020

NMIMS does not announce an official cut off for the NPAT exam. Merit lists are prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates. Candidates are allotted the programmes on the basis of their number on the merit list. No cut off marks are published for any institute.

NPAT 2020 Counselling

Merit lists are prepared after the results are announced. NPAT 2020 Counselling and seat allocation of all the qualified candidates is scheduled from Mid-June 2020 to end of June 2020.

  • If there are any vacant seats left after the first round, a fresh merit list is made.
  • The name of the candidates that appear in the merit list is called for seat allotment.
  • Usually, there are three rounds in NPAT counselling.
  • The counselling takes place at designated centres set up by NMIMS.
