NMIMS NPAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech.

  • Candidates must hold a higher level IB degree in mathematics or have a minimum average score of 50 percent in engineering diplomas.
  • Candidates who have completed a class 12 assessment or equivalent from Online or Distance Learning School (recognized only by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)) subject to program eligibility.
  • Applicants completing a class 12 assessment or similar part-time or distance learning/correspondence /external/open education that are not accepted by NIOS will be ineligible for NMIMS NPAT 2021.
  • It is mandatory to complete the qualifying test in a single attempt. A standard marking sheet showing the marks of all compulsory subjects is mandatory.   • The International School Applicants should obtain an AIU certificate of equivalence as an equivalent to a class 12 assessment to validate their qualifications.
  • Applicants who have not yet obtained their final mark sheet yet are eligible for NPAT counseling and will be given provisional admission on the basis of the NMIMS NPAT merit list. Such applicants will have to pay the payments, but only the delivery of the final mark sheet before the curriculum ends can validate their admission. In order to validate their eligibility, they will have to send a copy of the AIU notification for the equivalence of their curriculum to the Class 12 assessment.
  • Candidates who have a GPA / CGPA score should receive the relevant percentage in writing from the board/university concerned with the same.
  • Candidates must mention their class 12th aggregate marks of all subjects they have appeared for in the ICSE/CBSE examination in the online application.
  • For the purposes of registration, the aggregate percentage of these subjects and PCM percentages shall be considered.
  • At the time of admission, candidates who do not have their mark sheets available should procure a copy of the result from the internet properly approved by the Principal of the School / College and apply the same. Failing to do so would result in a denial of entry.

Minimum Marks 

  • All candidates holding a degree in engineering with a percentage of not less than 50 percent are also deemed eligible for the NPAT 2021 examination.
  • For admission to Mumbai Campus, science, or technology vocational courses, an aggregate minimum, PCM score of 50 percent in class 12 or equivalent is required.
  • 45 percent of the marks in class 12 or equivalent shall be required for admission to Shirpur Campus.

Age Limit

  • Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply for the examination.
  • Candidates are solely responsible for ascertaining the possession of the appropriate and sufficient NIMMS qualification for various courses through NMIMS NPAT 2021.
