NPAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria - Qualification, Age Limit

The NPAT eligibility criteria are classified in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and minimum qualifying marks. 

This post takes you through the detailed course-wise NPAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria. 

NMIMS NPAT 2023 BBA Eligibility Criteria

Through NPAT Exam, you can get admission into various courses like BBA, B.Tech, MBA, B.Sc. It would be best to satisfy the NPAT eligibility criteria before you fill the  Application form

  • The pattern of the exam for all these courses varies. Hence, there is no option for form correction, so keep all your educational qualification marks sheet ready. 
  • If you haven't received your final marks sheet, you can still apply by uploading a provisional marks sheet.

NPAT BBA Eligibility Criteria 2023 (B.Sc. Finance/ B.Com Hons./ B.B.A)

Here is the NPAT Eligibility for BBA, B.Sc. Finance, and B.Com (Hons) courses. Attempt NPAT Mock Test Series for enhancing preparation levels and knowing the difficulty level of the exam. 

  • Age Limit: Minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. 
  • Educational Qualification: You must have passed Mathematics/ Statistics in class 12 examination or equivalent to be eligible for B.B.A / B.Com (Hons) / B.Sc. (Finance) admission through NMIMS NPAT 2023. 
  • If you apply for Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/ Bengaluru campus, you must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics as a compulsory subject. (or)
  • If you hold an IB diploma, you can apply for the NPAT only if you have passed Mathematics/Statistics at Standard Level (SL).
  • Qualifying Percentage: You must have secured a minimum of 50% in the class 12 examination for B.Com (Hons), while 60% is required to apply for B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) Program.
  • If you have your GPA/CGPA form results, you should get the equivalent percentage from the concerned board/university in writing.
  • If you have passed class 12 examination or equivalent from Open or Distance learning school that is recognised only by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) subject to fulfilment of program eligibility and the candidates passing class 12 examination or equivalent part-time or through distance learning/ correspondence/externally/open school that NIOS does not recognise will be ineligible for this test.
  • International school applicants should submit an AIU certificate of equivalence as equivalent to the class 12th examination to confirm their NPAT eligibility criteria.
  • If you haven't received your mark sheet, you can still apply by providing a provisional mark sheet; however, you need to provide the original mark sheet during the admission.

NPAT Engineering Eligibility Criteria 2023 (B.Tech. & MBA Tech)

  • Age Limit: The Minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. 
  • Educational Qualification: You must have cleared 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or organization. If you are holding IB diploma, then you are eligible for NPAT Exam 2023 only if you have studied Mathematics at the 12th level (or)
  • For admission in Mumbai Campus, science, or vocational science courses, a minimum aggregate score of 50% in PCM in class 12 or equivalent is required.
  • Qualifying Percentage: A minimum of 45% in 12th is required to apply for NPAT, and a minimum of 50% in the diploma is needed to apply for NPAT 2023. The aggregate percentage in such subjects & PCM percentages are considered.
  • It is mandatory to pass the qualifying examination in a single attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all compulsory subjects is compulsory. NMIMS will not consider a compartmentalised mark sheet.
  • International school candidates should submit an AIU certificate of equivalence as equivalent to the class 12 examination to confirm their NPAT eligibility criteria.
  • If you are yet to receive your final marks sheet, you can still apply by providing a provisional marks sheet.
  • At the time of admission, if you do not have your mark sheets available, you should get a copy of the result from the internet duly attested by the Principal of the school/college and submit the same. Failing to do so will result in rejection in admission.
  • If you are passing the class 12 examination or equivalent part-time or through distance learning/ correspondence/ externally/ open school are not recognised by NIOS will be ineligible for NMIMS NPAT 2023.

NPAT 2023 MBA Eligibility Criteria (MBA Pharma Tech (B. Pharm + MBA))

  • Age Limit: The Minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years.

NPAT BSC Eligibility Criteria 2023 (B.Sc Economics)

If you wish to apply for B.Sc. Economics, then here are the criteria you need to fulfil.

  • Age Limit: Minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. 
  • Educational Qualification: If you apply for the NMIMS NPAT Exam, you must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or organization. 
  • Qualifying Percentage: A minimum of 60% is required to be secured in class 12. If your result is provided in GPA/CGPA, you need to get the equivalent percentage from the concerned board/university in writing. 
  • It is mandatory to pass the qualifying examination on the first attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all the subjects is compulsory. NMIMS will not consider a compartmentalised mark sheet.
  • You can provide a provisional mark sheet if you have not yet received the mark sheet; however, you need to provide the original mark sheet during the admission.
  • If you do not have the mark sheet during admission, you should get a copy of the result from the internet duly attested by the Principal of the school/college and submit the same. Failing to do so will result in rejection in admission.
  • International school applicants should submit an AIU certificate of equivalence as equivalent to the class 12th examination to confirm their eligibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

As per the NPAT 2023, candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from CBSE, ICSE, and International Baccalaureate (IB) are eligible to apply for NPAT 2023. Applicants completing a class 12 assessment or similar part-time or distance learning/correspondence /external/open education that are not accepted by NIOS will be ineligible for NMIMS NPAT 2023.
