How Do You Fill Out the NMIMS NPAT Exam 2026 Application Form?

Before you proceed with the NPAT registration process, ensure you meet the NPAT eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authorities.

The NPAT application process is a four-step process that involves online registration, completing the NPAT application form, uploading photos & signatures, and paying the application fee.

Step 1: Initial Registration

  • Visit the official website or click on the link- https://apply.nmims.edu/
  • To complete the registration process for NPAT 2026, click on “Apply Now” and create an account.
  • Candidates can choose the NPAT 2026 form and complete the NPAT registration process. 

Step 2: Select Test category/school/Program/Preferences

  • Select the Test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS CET / NMIMS-LAT)/ School / Program, and campus preferences based on eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates can select multiple test categories / multiple schools, and multiple program preferences.
  • Candidates can select multiple attempts for each category.

Step 3: Pay the NPAT application form fee and complete the process

  • The NPAT registration fees are based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes.
  • Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.
  • Candidates can choose one main and two retakes for each examination category.
  • In all, a candidate will be given a chance to appear a total of 3 times in whichever exam he/she wishes to take.
  • Candidates should not register multiple times for the same exam category; otherwise, they will be blocked from admission.

Step 4: Select the Test centre / Test date

  • After successful NPAT registration and payment, the candidate can schedule the exams by selecting the test date (s) and test centre (s).
  • Test dates / Test centre availability are subject to the Test centre capacity.
  • It will be available to the candidate modestly on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note:

  • Maximum Retakes: Aspirants can undertake a maximum of two retakes in any chosen category. This indicates three tries (one primary test + two retakes). The highest score you achieved across all attempts will be considered for the merit process of the school you selected. 
  • Incorporating New Schools: After finishing your primary exam, you cannot include a new school in the same category for a retake. Nonetheless, you may sign up for another test category if required. 
  • Early Exam Slot Reservation Advised: To prevent last-minute problems, candidates are encouraged to book their exam slots at the earliest opportunity. Preferred time slots may not always be available, and NMIMS will not be responsible for issues related to slot availability. 
  • No Changes or Cancellations: Once confirmed, changes or cancellations are absolutely prohibited. Schedule your exam dates wisely! 

NPAT 2026 Application Fee

The NPAT Exam registration fee can be paid only online. You can pay the application fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

The basic application fee is Rs. 2,000 per school.

However, the NPAT registration form fee will vary if you apply to multiple schools.

Candidates who intend to reattempt the NPAT exam must pay an additional fee equal to the application fee for each attempt.

Name  Same as in-class: 10/SSC certificate/name on the passport.
DOB Date of birth in the format of date/ month and year. This must be selected from the calendar next to the text box.

Enter your mobile number A functional mobile number that can be used for future communication.
Enter Email ID A functional email ID of yourself or your parents/siblings/relatives can be used to send the NPAT registration number and password details.

Father’s / mother’s name Enter the name of either parent as written in the Class 10 certificate or the DOB certificate.
School Applied For You can choose multiple schools, but the NPAT application fee may vary based on the selection.
Course / Program Applied for You can select the program and the school you are interested in joining. You can select more than one school and more than one program in the school.
Exam City and Date There will be two dates given. You can select one of your choices. You can choose up to 3 exam centres.

NMIMS NPAT Application Form Correction 2026

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies shall open the correction window for the NPAT 2026 application form.

Important Instructions with regard to Application and Scheduling Examination

Single Registration for Each Category 

  • Candidates may register for all test categories at once. Any repeated registrations will be denied, regardless of whether the exam has been completed. Both registrations may be cancelled at NMIMS's discretion at any point in the admission process. 

Selection of Test Centre and Date 

  • At the time of registration, candidates must thoughtfully select their desired NPAT exam centre and exam date. Once chosen, modifications are prohibited in any situation. 

No Changes or Cancellations 

  • Applicants must attend the exam on the predetermined date and time. Changing the exam/registration date or cancelling it is not allowed. 

Counselling & Admission process 2026 for Indore / Hyderabad / Chandigarh Campus seats

To facilitate admissions without requiring candidates to travel to Mumbai, NMIMS has scheduled campus counselling rounds at the following locations:

Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh Campuses

  • Phase 1: Tuesday, April  2026
  • Phase 2: Monday, June  2026

This is exclusively for candidates interested in securing admission to these three campuses.

NMIMS Selection Process 2026

Merit List Criteria

The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the NMIMS-NPAT exam.

The institute's decision regarding the merit list will be final and binding, and no inquiries or correspondence will be entertained.

Notes:

  • Candidates must update their 12th or equivalent exam marks (or predicted scores) after admission.
  • Failure to provide accurate information in the online registration form will result in exclusion from the merit list.
  • The candidates are responsible for ensuring that the correct marks are entered.

Admission Cancellation Policy

If, at any stage, the submitted 12th or equivalent marks are found to be incorrect, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with NMIMS's prescribed refund policy.

Cancellation of Admission & Withdrawal 

  • If a candidate intends to withdraw or cancel their admission voluntarily, they must proceed via the official portal: NMIMS Admission Cancellation. 
  • Any attempt to influence admissions through canvassing will result in disqualification. 

Eligibility and Admission Confirmation 

  • Applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements before applying. If a candidate is deemed ineligible or submits false information at any point, their admission will be revoked, and a refund will be issued in accordance with NMIMS's refund policies. 
  • The essential requirement to launch a program is 10 candidates. 

Scholarly Prerequisites 

  • Candidates must complete all their subject tests before the start of their NMIMS program. All outstanding exams must be completed before the course starts. 
  • If a candidate is conditionally accepted but their final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission, they must submit it as soon as the results are announced. 
  • If the final scores fail to satisfy the necessary eligibility requirements, admission will be voided even after the course commences, and NMIMS regulations will handle the refund. 

Temporary Admission Guidelines 

  • Admission will stay provisional until all required documents are submitted, checked, and authorised by NMIMS. If a candidate is deemed ineligible at any point, the admission will be cancelled, irrespective of whether the course has started.
