If x = 81, then 4√x - ∜x is equal to:      
Options:
A) 0
B) -33
C) 40
D) 33
Solution:

4√x - ∜x = 4 \(\sqrt{81}\) - \(\sqrt[4]{81}\) 

= 4 × 9 – (34)1/4

= 36 – 3 = 33
